Ok so,

    I started up a game and selected all of my options.  The new game loaded - then, when my map appeared I couldn't see any planets or anomalies etc.  In their place was just an icon of the real thing (like when you zoom all the way out and see icons for planets, ships, asteroid fields etc). 

I should mention that just before I loaded a new game, I fooled around with the map editor for TA.  I didn't save anything - I was just messing about.  This is the only thing I can think of that I did different than before.  Before this happened I was able to see everything just fine. 

Has anyone else had this problem?  Any suggestions?
