Ship Designer Suggestions

Hull Tab

Hello,
Great fan of the ship designing aspect of the game. So here are a few suggestions to improve it:

It would be nice to have a seperate directory that stores only empty hulls of ships (i.e. ones without add-ons).

Another suggestion is currently you have three tabs (All, User, Core); be nice to have a Hulls tab that just displays ships without addons.

Also it would be cool to have acess to a ship hull designer at the main menu, that gives you access to all ship sizes (without technology). Or even better if some clever person out there can design a Seperate ship designer program

I was kind of hoping for the separate ship designer as well.
It would be nice to lay out my ship designs ahead of time and research my way into them.
As it stands right now, I usually end up building a new new design on the spot once I see what I'm up against.

Try starting a game on the scenario with all techs available from the start (Edit: Battle of the Gods, when you're starting a new game). Not perfect, but it's a pretty good quick way of setting up blank hulls or seeing all your custom ships at once. Just change the terrans to the hull set you want.
