The slider doesn't increment by 1 each time so you actually might pay a few more bc than you have to if you do it that way. To really get the cheapest price possibl you have to type the number in manually. We get a lot of people who say this is too time comsuming and there should just be a button you can press to get the optimal deal. I've got to say, I thought this post was a refreshing change. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"

"Would you buy an expansion that only focused on adding multiplayer to the game?" I'm confused. Isn't that exactly what the poll did say, just reworded and without mentioning the price?
Nothing to see here.
As I remember it the private company that developed it (imagine that) sold it to everybody before anyone in government realized its military signifigance. It wasn't a weapon, after all.
well 30$ or even 25$ I think its too much for an expansion Yeah, I thought so too. But then again, it also has too many features for an expansion. You pay for half a game, and it looks like you're getting about half a game. I'll pay $25 for it.
To the clipboard. You have to paste it into Paintbrush or something.
Not completely conquered. Earth itself is sealed off with nothing able to get in or out, and the fleet you commanded has gone off to the pocket universe where the Dread Lords had been trapped in order to study the technology they left behind and eventually come back, wipe out the Drengin, and make it safe to let Earth out of its bubble.
While I understand the rational for them not bothering to go the extra step to make the serial numbers (and thus the updates) transferable, I still think it's a shitty thing for them to do. Especially when the company is known for its otherwise great support. People have been buying and selling used games ever since there have been games. It's not like they didn't know the issue would come up.
You've got objects moving in 3D space that you want to change from doing something simple (moving around randomly without bumping into each other) to something complex (moving in some kind of formation coordinated with the other objects). Sounds like it would be on the hard side to me. I've never actually worked with 3d objects (or any kind of graphics) before, and I've never seen Stardock's code, so I could be wrong about it being a hard change to make. I'd rather see it in a s
Any old-school Usenet users remember The Longest Thread Ever?
I'm not saying dont do RTS battles I'll say it. Don't do RTS battles.
Yeah, I'm surprised about it too. I'll bet more advanced diplomacy would be #1 if you added it together with more politics, which I think is the same thing.
That is so cool. Please, Stardock, don't fix this bug!
Influence points are votes in the United Planets counsel meetings. You have them until you use them at the next meeting.
You know what would be really cool? This, hooked up to a voice synthesizer.
I am writing to express my dismay and concern over Pmutzu's prurient revenge fantasies. I would like to start by discussing Pmutzu's bromides, mainly because they scare me. The thing I'm the most frightened about is that many people are shocked when I tell them that for all Pmutzu's bombast about freedom, liberty, and tolerance, he still wants to send children to die as martyrs for causes that he is unwilling to die for himself. And I'm shocked that so many people are shocked. You see, I had tho
Why make graphic reqs for a TBS higher than action games? 'Cause it looks cooler. Any time you're ever tempted to ask a question about system requirements, that's your answer. For this or any game.
Each major race has its own AI. Meaning they have their own C++ class. AI_Torian is a subclass of AI_Crazy. (names not totally totally accurate) That's all I know.
I'll bet there are a whole lot of people who bought the game and didn't get a chance to vote who wouldn't buy a multiplayer expansion, too. Me, for instance. I'll bet that out of all the people who could have voted but didn't, about 33% of them would have said 'yes' and 67% would have said 'no'. This isn't a vote after all. It's a poll. You know you can't get everybody, but you try to get a representative sample.
Is the reason you're getting 600/week because your balance fell below -500 and your production shut down to force you to pay back the debt? Is either your total spending or military spending slider set to 0?
There are at least three more that I can think of.
That's your idea of being specific? https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Cheats_and_keyboard_shortcuts And the techs brycej was thinking about are Soil Enhancement, Habitat Improvement, and Terraforming. Xeno Ethics + Neutral turn all yellow, orange, and red tiles green instantly, so there's no need to research that path if you're neutral.
You can "lock" their abilities by not touching anything on the race customization screen.
Does anybody know what these problems he's talking about are? Or is this what those upgrades/scheduled downtime are about?
Auto-attack doesn't work (this is the first game I've played in several versions, so I don't know if this is new). Pressing K doesn't put a ship on auto-attack. Pressing D and then clicking on Auto-Attack sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. A couple of times I had ships go to a nearby rally point instead of going after enemy ships. Whenever they reach their destination (either an enemy ship or a rally point) they come out of auto-attack mode. Also, I submitted a Metaverse game
