Ray, I think Chris meant Australia as your lower neighbour And Australia is rich enough to afford 3 whole time zones!
Exams > gaming :)
L0L I thought the "traitor" comment was a bit OTT as well.
Oh and Quack - make the uni a priority!! I am just glad when I went computer games had only progressed to "defender" else I might have been completely fuxored!!
I was actually mildly amused in some of the "fight" sequences (and I love martial arts movies) but I am afraid the movie just didnt do it for me - I mean the special effects were good ...real good...but it was all a bit OTT and I am guessing the amazing "twist" in the 3rd movie is (***spoiler ahead***) they are still in the matrix even in what they think is the real world (*gasp*)
Ahh..this thread sunk off my radar screen. Welcome back!!
Sadly I probably wont be playing again until Saturday night... And the Matrix Reloaded both blew and sucked :(
Actually I have been drinking a fair amount of sancerre while I have been here - my UK partners (who are all without exception wine snobs) will drink nothing but French (or, at a pinch, Italian) and got me onto it. But at heart I am a red wine drinker! And I have submitted nothing for a while :(. Started to play last night and couldnt focus; tried a couple of games of EU II and was crap at that too so went to bed. Gonna watch Die Another Day tonight unless my wife per
Welcome to the team Elthium!! ...and with all due respect Pontius, I have yet to find an American wine that rocks my world. I understand that there are a lot of boutique wineries and so I certainly havent tried them all (in fact given the choice between something I know I will like and some strange US wine I go with the former). The varietal which the US seems to have made their own is the odious zinfandel (sp?) which I cannot stand in any of its white, red or (blech) pink inc
Well live and learn!!!
I buy 10-15 computer games a year and I am pretty happy if only 2 or 3 turn out to be OK. But MOO 3 - what were they thinking??????
No, I think that is an introvert, which is basically a shy person (opposite of extrovert)
Whats an invert?
Harrumph!!!! ANZAC is for Aussies AND kiwis (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps is what it stands for) but:
#3 G.R.O.S.S. - elementary schools across the world ( how else can you explain their name....G.et R.id O.f S.limy alienS.....come on
ROTFLOL!!!
+10 ECONOMY FOR ALL ANZAC EMPIRES!!!
Wahoo!!! Now if we can just get them to drop their illegal sheep meat tarrifs galactic domination shall surely follow. Although a US cultural victory cannot be ruled out - you want Coke with those fries?
Pinot Noir; it's a variety of wine; tends to be a nice smooth red. Myself I like a big Aussie red - give me a cab sav any day :) (actually not *any* day - I am in a period of abstinence due to SERIOUS over-indulgence on Saturday night....)
Sergey Thanks for posting your strat - very thoughtful strategy; I can see why you win a lot!!
Fortunately I get to go to Europe a lot, where they DO know how to have a proper meal :)
Haha I went to a bar here in DC that boaasted 500 different types of beer, including beers from such well known beer drinking nations as Colombia and Jamaice - but NO Aussie or Kiwi beer. Fortunately I have made some friends at the embassy and so I can get a small supply of the "good stuff". And Chris - dont even start me off on wine. In Virginia (where I live) it is ILLEGAL to transport more than a dozen bottles across the state line (this law is supposed to change soon, I th
Note that no one has submitted a huge map - understandable really as if you are going big go gigantic!
Two of the French secret service were captured in NZ and tried. Basically the Franch then gave NZ a lesson in big country versus little country diplomacy and we handed them back to the French (it was either that or get locked out of European trade) on the condition they serve their sentence in the Pacific. They stayed on an island for a couple of months, she fell pregnant and they both returned to heroes welcomes in France; decorated by the government etc etc. Not exactly a high point in Fren
