I never noticed stock exchanges giving morale bonuses. May have to look at that. Uh.... *speechless* They've been that way since GC1!

Eventually, I scrapped the farm Paladin, what morale was your planet topping out at? AFAIK, the only advantage of 100% morale is to increase your population growth. Between 41-99% there isn't much difference as long as your overall approval is high enough to mean that you win your elections & votes. Why are people so obsessed with having
Was the Planet Quality bug fixed?
That would be so damb handy.
BTW I found the AI in 1.3 noticably meaner. I can still outplay it at 5/Gifted/Gigantic, but I have to work for it. Thank you. Now give me more!

I find the best way to get the AI to surrender to you is to completely destroy its naval power, and have lots of ships in his influence zone, but *not* invade any planets.
At that price point, even I might be interested, assuming I can use it with my LCD monitor's VGA input.
Don't forget that just having the morale techs gives a morale bonus.
8: build stock markets -- i wouldn't bother building any of the morale specific buildings anymore. Do you like Stock Markets well enough to demolish and replace existing morale buildings with Stock Markets when the tech becomes available? If I find a couple of morale resources, then sure.
Don't forget that you can build the ship on one planet, but have it collect the colonists from another. This means that if you have one super-production planet, you can spread the de-population load about a bit.
If you have a bank account, you can use paypal.
It's a special racial bonus like their 100% loyalty bonus. You can create a custom race with this bonus if you like. Or try playing the Thalans, who get a +15%
I think you're just going to have to take the 30 seconds required each time you do a reinstall. I realise this will add a good 1% to the time required.
Really? I made them my bitches in the first 1.3 I played. And they surrendered to me.
Erm, have you had a look to see if the AI has a couple of military resources or racial ability?
did the French say "Fuck it - England, you take our tanks and guns and fight our war, we're going to to Galapagos for a few months. Let us know how it turns out."? Pretty much, yes.
My internet is very slow Set it to update overnight and get 1.3 - It will be MUCH better to play. There have been a heck of a lot of improvements.
I heard november
Another use for minors is to give them any low-class words you get early on, and let them pay the maintenence and development costs (not to mention PQ when you sell 'em Soil and Habitat) then get them back later when you can afford them.
I really enoyed NWN, I guess I would be interested in NWN2.
An event which makes them form their own "UFP" league would be good (effectively meaning that all the minors become allies). Or a UFP vote to allow one/all minosr to join... they often rack up quite a bit of influence. I think some people have reported "breakouts" by minor races where they do become powerful, but this is rare (and it should be); it shows that they have the potential. But it does seem like they get the sh1tty end of the AI stick; nothing worse than giving you Minor buddy
Cust your spending back a bit, build up some cash, and buy the freighters at the planet you want to have the trade running from.
New PC parts arrive tomorrow... The PAIN of waiting to play 1.3! The JOY of Conroe + 7900GS + 2Gb!
wouldn't econ starbases work just as well? because using influence bases would only get the races into trouble. I always use military bases as range extenders
