Now I've uninstalled Start8 and I've deleted the Start8 entrys from the registry. This action doesn't help. I do not think that the App Asparion Calculator is responsable for this problem. Yes, I did, a small App. Deinstallation of this App and a re-start of Windows 8 doesn't help.

I'm using Fences with OS Windows 8. If you will use "screen-sharing", you have to activate "Align icons to grid". Only then the icons move to side. But when you also activate "Desktop pages", you can not place the icons near to the taskbar. The icons will be jumping one position up.

I use the new version of fences 2.01, but the problem still exist. Only the application Nero Burning Rom has the option "Exclude this icon from Fences quick-hide". What is about the mark behind Fences? Looks strange for me. Could it be that the quick-hide problem is a language pack problem?

I have the same problems. Windows starts always with metro. I have to use the desktop app for the desktop. Here I found the start8 startmenu. These problems beguns with the use of tiles. Meanwhile I have uninstall tiles but this doesn't help.
2nd desktop page isn't a standard of windows i think. Which program do you use for this? Can you make some screen shots of your workaround?

Hello, I'm using start8 and fences2 on a windows 8 x64 system. On desktop, I often use the new snapped view. On this view, the desktop and the left sided icons moves light to right side. When I sign out me from windows and sign in later, the desktop icons leaves on her last place. This does not happen, if fences is disabled. So the desktop icons continuously walks to the right side.
