Rich are you getting my emails? I have sent a couple (one with a fix for your theme) but I don't think they are getting through. Do you have ICQ or can you visit #stardock on efnet (IRC). We can find some alternative way of communicating.

Link direct to aniutil is http://www.ricciosoft.com/cursorex/AniUtil.zip but if you have Windows 2000/XP take a look at cursorex
there is a fantastic utility at http://www.ricciosoft.com called aniutil which stitches together PNG's/BMP's specifically designed for DesktopX and CursorEx. it will automatically trim PNG's to the optimum size before stitching. A couple of things to mention. You need to make sure all images are the same size or they won't look right (not even sure if it'll stitch them in that case). Also make sure they are numbered sequentially. ie image01, image02, image03 (must have leadi
It has to be 24bit with alpha. Use export to PNG from Paintshop Pro.
Happy to take a look DWM.
Ah. Yes I read a newsgroup posting about that issue this morning. I guess this is one time it's good not to be on the 'bleeding edge'. By the way both of those pages worked fine here.
What verison of 3DS Max? I have XP RC2 and Max 3.1 Just installed Max and it appears to be fine. Using OpenGL for graphics. I have some minor problems (XP refused to recognise the rear channel on my SBLive until I reinstalled Liveware 4 times) but overall I have been very happy with XP so far. It improved the quality of my WinTV and seems to have fixed some issues I was having with my ADSL modem. Paintshop Pro would crash when using WinTV at the same time and does not do that anymo
As long as you like it that's the main thing. If one other person likes it as well then that's even better. So 1.
Have you still got the DesktopX 1.0 download? There was a leaky plugin in the default theme which could cause problems on 98. You need to download the updated DesktopX 1.0a to get the new plugin.
Kris I am useless at coming up with ideas for skins. I would be happy to take a look at your ideas and try and create a DX theme/objects from them.

Visit http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/index.html and select the link to Sircam info. Download and run the fix and that should do it. I have successfully cleaned it off a machine at work. You need to kill each process labelled as sirc32.exe in taskmanager first.
Haven't had one in a day. My count is at 239 and holding. Looks like word about the virus has reached a certain estonian who sent it me over 200 times.
I didn't notice that one. Strange he got it right twice further on.
And by the way thanks jafo for posting the link to m@ilsafe. Right after I installed it I saw it had intercepted an email to my sister (everything goes through my VPop server) containing it. She would definitely have opened that email attachment with no thought of viruses.
sircam up to 58 now and counting. 54 of them from the same address. I can tell when they go online (or go offline) because the virus stops being sent. It's just started again. They must have just gone online cos I checked at 6:30 (UK) and had not received any for several hours. 48 was the amount at 12:00 last night (UK) which had not changed by 6:30 (UK).
Also look in the plugins folder in your DesktopX folder for the file dxplayer.txt. This contains instructions on what commands are available and how to configure objects to use them.
/me does the Happy Hippy Hands Dance as a strange tribal sort of welcome thing. And everyone points and laughs. (or is that cries)
Congrats Paul. You deserve it.
feline you just managed to post and I don't think there are any typos. Did you spell check it? Or is Jafo's constant nagging getting to you now?
Some people are concerned about giving email addresses etc to wincustomize because they are afraid they will be sold to other companies.
So can Jafo or IMike remove multiple posts?
Eye stil downt sea y wee nead a spel cheka. General congrats to Jafo and spacific congrats to IMike.
Not comic sans. Just checked the two together. The mystery continues.
Although you may find set target works better.
