It should be installed automatically. However I discovered an incorrect setting in the registry which stops this happening. If you look at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\document.wba\Shell\Open\Command or something similar you will see the comman line it is using to start wbload.exe. If it has "'s around it but is using short path/filenames (ie with ~1's) then remove th "'s just leaving the %1 with "'s round it. That should work and now they should be installed by just clicking to download them.<

Attila: The July 01 thing means that if you bought WB2 after (or on presumably) 1/July/2001 you will get an automatic free upgrade to WB 3.0 I believe the 01 refers to the year 2001. So basically if you bought it before July 2001. If you bought WB 2 before that date then you pay $8 to upgrade. Hope that clears things up.

Bible == Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. And that is what I believe it is. It explains what we need to do to get to know our Lord and creator so we can go to be with Him forever. I believe wholeheartedly in the Bible and believe the whole thing is inspired by God from start to finish. As to the subject: I do not believe in evolution as it is described by Darwin with people evolving from monkeys etc. I believe the story of Genesis fully and see no contradictions ther

I would have to say that forcing the d/l counter back to 0 is probably not the best idea. Recently I uploaded Translucent with colorisation support and optimised (16bit and 256 color bitmaps). Then when WBXP beta came out a couple of days later it caused massive slowdowns when viewing the skin in the preview window and the colors were not applied. I was forced to change all those bitmaps back to 32bit and update it to fix that. Then XP Copper was released with XP stuff. Of c

If the extension is dxtheme it is a DesktopX theme not a WB skin. You need to download DesktopX (by clicking on the word 'DesktopX' contained in the title for the themes). The .wmz file is I thinka Windows media player skin. Windowblinds skins are .wba files.

If you like DesktopX take a look at the other programs available from Stardock as part of the Object Desktop Network http://www.objectdesktop.net There are trial versions of a few. If you like more than one it is well worth the money to subscribe. I can't say which of the two to go for as I haven't really used Hoverdesk but I can say I personally love DesktopX and the new things which are being added would make me buy it if I didn't already have it.

/me decides that in Jafo's absence he must point out viligently is not a word. Is it a new mix of vigilant and diligent? Anyway that said I applaud all mentioned above and migellito who doesn't seem to have got a mention. Although some new guy called Migeleto did!

[Update - October 9] A new update has just been uploaded (literally in the last 5 mins) to fix an annoying bug which appears in a couple of cases, when the screen saver starts and ends or when ctrl-alt-del is pressed. So if you downloaded already you probably want to get the updated one.
