Yeah, I know, but it's not just the lazy bastards who'd rather steal than earn a crust, it's also those who hack primarily to cause harm, pain and frustration. The cash 'reward' at the end actually disinterests them. No, their 'reward' is derived more from the damage done, and those are the worst kind of hacker. Not that I condone it, but stealing does have a point, in that there is an actual gain

Since it's mostly a graphical mod, I think it can be combined with any of the other rebalancing mods, though you need to do it manually. Actually I felt there isn't much point to it because I play zoomed out at most times.
any one here ever played master of orion?? is it any good?? I assume that up until now other browsers worked with cortana so it might seem apparent that this will be headed to the courts as well. Yes, it's weird in regard as I can't replicate your findings. Generating maps with both 2.20 or 2.042, unveiling them via cheats, and using the PlanetList to count the number of habitable worlds, I see 15-20 for each PQ4, PQ5 & PQ6 in an all-abundant immense sized galaxy. PQ7 alot more, but what's mostly interesting is that 60%-70% of all worlds are uncolonizably PQ0 worlds.
I`ve set both, planets and habitable planets, to abundant, but as I said, I have many star systems without any havitable planets.
This is working as intended, it was so in TotA 1.97 or 2.042 and, like Gaunathor already said, there is nothing in the CU that could change that. However, this
Still, you should have at least one habitable planet per star s

I've no clue if that's somehow humanly possible. The basic problem here is that it hasn't officially been released how each of them is actually achieved. At least one of them - Wounded in Action - doesn't show up on the forums (but it will show on the resp. MV profile), and I've never seen a single one of some of the other groups like for excessive forum potings etc. Maybe the 750 battles or 1000 battles will show, at least, the 250 and 500 do indeed show. But in o

If you can post 4 screenshots detailing all Military, Population, Economy & Research-curves (Civ-Manager-->Timeline-->Show all: first 4 curves)... this is essentially were you can see how your score (and the one of your opponents) did develop.

Nevertheless, if you don't play for score you could fill it with any structure which may help you to achieve victory: - Embassy etc to flip planets and win culturally - Planetary Defenses... maybe if you picked a too high level of difficulty with the AI having space superiority - More labs = perhaps producing large hulls which, in opposition toi cargo hulls, can put up a real fight.

For score of course [e digicons]|-)[/e] - the Economic Score consists mainly of your tax-income. Trade & Tourism make out only a tiny fraction of it. Depending on what kind of game you play, your Economy-score is usually the 2nd, sometimes 3rd best contributor to the overall score. In an All-Abundant Millionpointer game it's like this: Military (60%) Economy (30%) Society (7%) Research (3%) Ofc these are now

Some additional infos: Those two above-mentioned UP votes also work on Economic Starbases - enhancing either planetary research & production, and also Freighter-income. Found a glitch/typo in UPIssues.xml The foreign buildup of forces before declaring war is a dishonorable and cowardly tactic. By allowing this 'strategy' to be used, we're actively planting the seeds of suspicion and distrust amongst our neighbors . \nWe [sic!] come together today to fight for a more trustworthy community.
Look at Maiden666 recent thread on how MV calculates score.
I'm currently writing a detailed standalone post on this but I'm afraif it won't help that much since it'll be dry mathematical stuff. Which is not really that important knowledge because all a MV player needs to know is just to increase 4 basic ingame things, and as fast & as high as possible. [quote who="Orbital 2000"

I think Kalypso is or were the EU distributors for the UE. I've no clue how that is even remotely possible, because, as of today, I was under the impression that an .exe will hold its own internal links and these should naturally, simply point into its own installation-folder. Because, I'm 100% positive I moved alot of games (= only their installation folder) from one PC to another (because I really get tired with the process of installation itself, why can't these things

Yeah, I suspect it has something to do with double-installations. My "older" UE installation-folder is also located @ Program Files\Kalypso\GalCiv2Ultimate but the new 2.20 download would create its folder @ Program Files\Stardock Gaming\GalCiv2 I ran into trouble when trying to start a TOTA 2.20 MV game, the game will refer to an older PoliticalParties.xml, but at that time I didn't knew from what location it did take it up. So I deleted the older installation, an

I'm currently playing TotA 2.20 Metaverse: all races still use the old political parties. The corresponding MetaverseData-folder in Twilight doesn't include a PoliticalParties.xml so the game refers back to the vanilla-MetaverseData-folder. The last download of changes by Gaunathor which I can access actually fixes that so I hope SD will get back to release an update (and I really want to use proper farms again) BTW I kinda think some races are really screwed on mining

I suspect perhaps the .exe that makes AIP7 colonize outside their borders, but I haven't seen a changelog anywhere documenting that....
