1.53.136 is the latest version for Dread Lords (the original vanilla game) If you had the Dark Avatar expansion the latest version of that is 2.01.107. And if you had the Twilight of the Arnor expansion the latest version of that is 2.02.030.

The batteries now are prohibitively expensive, but if the industries get into it, prices will drop Oh I saw that roadster, it is awsome, but there is like a 2 year waiting list right now. It's stupid, unfair, and annoying. I believe its b/c we as PC gamers hold the devs to a higher standard than console gamers. We expect it be flawless like 2 days ago. Since we are ever pushing feedback into the devs hands they tend to take longer than expected.<br

I originally heard a lot of buzz about Sins and went and bought it; fell in love with it. It's easy to get into even without reading the manual. The tooltips are great and it's not hard to figure stuff out after a little trial and error and a few games. I had been an exclusively World of Warcraft player for three years and hardly played anything else, but when I finally left WoW and picked up Sins it filled the void. I was impressed with the design, lack of micro-management, zoom capabilities
On the other hand there was Myth (it's sequel was even more amazing), a slow paced, no resources, purely commanding your units game. There was micromanagement but your forces only consisted of about 30 units at best. You commanded them as an army, having your archers nowhere near your thralls or soldiers was crazy, each had their role. The game didn't have build orders, it didn't need shortcut keys to switch to different base buildings, rushing was unli

I'm pretty new to this game but really loving it and starting to get the hang of things and strategies. Currently I'm playing the campaign through the Twilight interface. I'm on the Achilles' Heel mission of the Dread Lords campaign and I'm having some difficulties with it. Hoping someone can help. I've tried it about 3 times now and can't figure out how to win. I've tried the mission on Cakewalk and Normal (I put it to Normal thinking my teammates would come alive and do something in the gam
2) What combat simulator???
Perhaps I'm naming it wrong. I'm thinking of the screen where you can watch the space battles between your ships and the enemies. And you can replay, go forward, backward...

Couple of questions: 1) What do I need to build starbases? Seems like I was able to do it once in a sandbox game (but don't remember how) but in the Dread Lords campaign I cannot figure out how to do it. 2) How do you enter the combat simulator during a battle? Thanks

I just bought the game plus the expansions as well and have been playing for a week or so. My advice would be to play a Cakewalk game in the Dread Lords interface first; or at least part of one to get the feel of things. Then start playing from the Twilight interface; and yes you can play the full campaign from the Twilight interface. A good starter place is the Beginner's Guide that can be found here: https://forums.galciv2.com/104908

Hi there, newbie here with a few questions. I have read the Beginner's Strategy guide and some AARs (with pictures; the one at Galciv2Guide.com is good). However, I can't find anything on the campaigns except the through Wiki site and that only gives the same info that you get in the game. By the way, I'm playing the campaign through the Twilight of the Arnor interface and I'm on the first mission 'An Unexpected Visitor'. The mission objectives state that we need to take the 3 planets
