"God schmod, I want my monkey man!" I mean "I want my patch!!!" :D
Yeah - if you are launching a clan and since I don't know you, I was wondering how many games you have played and won/lost... You say you need people to join, so it is only fair they know what they are joining.
If people were able to follow it, more would be hosting. I see everyday in the Lobby, "Can you host a game, I can't?" "Will you host a game" and so on... Keep telling yourself your intelligent, you seem extremely bright.
Since I am able to host, and got it working within 5 minutes by just reading the FAQ (I was unaware of The Monk's guide until a later date), I guess by your definition I am bright :D And just to prove it again - you meant to say "telling yourself
I'll remember the name - you didn't answer my question.
There is nothing worse then jumping into a fight after a 12 hour trip to get there in a fighter without having a chance to go to the loo first. If you land on a carrier etc... you can get out, stretch your legs, go to the loo etc... :D Read the X-Wing series - this topic is touched on a few times...
And the fighters for the rebels, it would be stupid to waste your time trying to make them phase on their own, because even though they could, they didn't always, because they might have the ability, but they're hyperspace engines were slow. The rebels did have ships that could carry fighters.
Yup - there's NOTHING worse then jumping into a furball after a 12 hour trip and needing to visit the head bad!!!
It was Lisa Lisa Simpson "Look, I've created a perpetual motion machine" Homer Simpson "Lisa! In this house we obey the law of thermodynamics!"
Gimme a "B" Gimme a "E" Gimme a "T" Gimme a "A" What have you got??? Nothing - we are still waiting... :D
And how often would the fighter(s) fire this weapon??? Someone who build a few carriers could own a fleet since it is constantly disabled...
Numbers are down during the week as people are at work etc... I find it hard to get a game at night during the week (Australia) - weekend is OK as during the day is US evening etc...
What is your record???
You might want to try the latest .NET. Seems to be 3.5 right now.
You need to make sure you have the right version of the framework for the app. So you may need 2.0 or 3.5
I have a new one to add Pausing the game without bothering to inform other players and get their OK (similar to AFK, except no one can do anything until you return to unpause the game).
TIP **When buying or selling large amounts of Metal/Crystal, Pause the game (Pause Break Button on keyboard) and buy it, the price will raise or drop quickly./quote] I would like to point out that this is a valid technique for SP only as 1) You only get 10 pauses per MP game 2) You will annoy people by pausing the game on them...
My money is on a Thursday. Beta-ers should know why
Dang - I never could get the hang of Thursdays :(
Sadly it is still abysmal, if the game I had last night (after like 8 weeks of not playing) was any indication).
There are a lot of new players online lately since the game is now out in Europe. So if you have a random game the skill level average may be down a bit, but it will pick up in a few weeks. I'm already seeing some of the new players start to pickup their game. All bodes well for a large community of players when 1.1 is out :D
You should feel sorry for that person - they probably had Turrets of the Keyboard. A very sad condition indeed... They need your caring and understanding, not to be ignored
Your are getting attitude from myself and others as you gave it out first, you have shown no intention to take steps to fix anything by yourself etc... Did you ever think to ask The Monk directly for help instead of whining on the forums and complaining about being referred to a guide that alot of people have read and been able to follow??? (And I don't need to be witty to make myself SEEM intelligent. I know I am... The witty stuff is just especially for you :) Doesn't that make yo
If you sell alot of stock you will push the price down. If you buy alot then you will push the price up.
Pot calling the Kettle!!! You are picking a fight with the one member of the Sins Community (exluding Stardock/IronClad) that has done more to help others then anyone else - way to get people to support your point of view regardless of how valid it may or may not actually be. BTW - what is your online handle (itsmevic as well???). Just so I know if I ever play you...
What "Experienced" players are left that aren't in your Clan??? Violator 666 (can't remember how he puts it together) is about the only one I can think of... HuntingX, Jinx and Astax are fairly good too...
Just a word about DT, we do not actively recruit, and cap our clan membership at 10 members.
Crap - that means I can't join... :( Did my invite get lots in the (e)mail???
let me add "Joining a 2v2 SKILLED game or EXPERT game or GOOD game or ELITE game" when you are new to the game. Obviously the title filters you out of the pool of possible players.
I will agree with this. However, I think that the opposite is also true. If a game is just "MAPSIZE - X v X teams" (e.g. large 4v4 or HUGE 5v5) etc..., it is unfair to boot someone who only has a few games as they have a right to play as much aas anyone else. If you are doing a special game, us
Its hard to say since a large map with small fleets on it may actually perform better than a small/medium map where everyone has 2000 points of ships and then decide to meet to battle it out...
