In answer to your question, no. It only works that way for the planet you build it on.
roger that.
Legend has it that it actually made planets NOT flip to you at all, or at least take a very long time to do so.
Yeah, I read this here on the forums. I've never got that far to use it. I play tiny maps and have used one 'good' 'neutral' 'evil' races starting on cakewalk (I will not advance to the next level of difficulty untill I beat the level with all types) and have now advanced too....I am starting my first game tonight on 'TOUGH' dont laugh please....
I believe that its one PER civ. SO each civ can have their own.
Does this mean EVERY planet get the bonus when u build it?
Nice work. I never got why Thalan MCC use was so talked about, and not any other race using it. This goes back to like DL and DA.
Could you clarify for a newb who has never played Thalan what MCC is?
Hyperion fleet defense can only be built once per civ, but allows all ships in orbit of said planet to function as a fleet regardless of logistics.
Ahhhhh, thats how it works. I have never had to use this yet. Question....The Hyperion fleet defense. Do you mean only ONE civ can have it and it all depends who builds it first or do you only get to pick one planet in your own civ to use it on when you build it?
Is there an Custom Planet XML document for ToA out there? I have one for ToA but not all races are there (Krynn). Also, how do you get this part to work when modding (I be BIG newb trying this stuff): StarSystem Name =" CustomDefault " >
On the other hand, due the way how orbital battles are done in the game, player already has huge advantage in offense when AI defenders just sit in orbit and wait to be destroyed one by one.
True that. Isn't there a tech that allows all ships in orbit to defend as a fleet? I'm 99% sure that I have seen this tech.
me too. most unsatisfying victory ever
I have never clicked that option on.........EVER.
Noboday can help me ? Is so stupid what i have said ?
Not stupid.....it just can't be done yet.
Very broad question.....what version are u playing?
size: Tiny(in u face from the bat) habitable planets: Abundant number of plantes: Abundant number of stars: Abundant star density: scattered anomolies: Abundant technology rate: normal victory conditions: just no acension game options: tech trading = yes, blind exploration minor races: If I feel like it......but when I do, its awlays all 8 of 'em
Thanks,But where is official changes list?
I don't think that exists in any manual, PDF, strategy guide....etc. I have asked the same question on these forums. It is a 'learn as u go' type thing. I did not like that at first cuz I'm a 'read all manuals' kinda guy. BUT....I find I like this game so much better trying to figure it out myself.
There is such an economy event which lasts for a random number of turns, yes. You probably just clicked right past it.
yup. I also clicked right past dawn.
I was playing a game where my bc per turn income was 350. All of a sudden it jumped to like 1800 per turn and stayed that way for half a year or so and then just as suddenly went back to 350. It was very late and I had been playing for a LONG time and was a little blurry-eyed. I wasn't building any economy type stuff nor did I take any planets. Did I miss some event that skyrockets your income or something? This was the first time I have seen this hapeen
i don't have twilight of arnor i use dark avatar yet my pc doesn't find any directory called logos in GFX must i create one?
Hmmmmmm, I'm not sure. Its been a while since I played DA. I can't remember off the top of my head where they go for DA. I know its a different placement though cuz I do have custom pics put in for DA. When I get home from work I'll look it up.
When playing with minors, gift/sell/trade them the techs "Trade I" and "Advanced Computing" as soon as possible. They will immediately start building economic and tech. capitals. As soon as you see them complete it, conquer them, and you have a second...and third...and fourth capital of the corresponding type, not to mention a PQ 15 world. Just be sure to have YOUR capital at least queued up on a planet, otherwise you can't build it after you've co
XCom CD-ROM with all 3 games on the CDs for a whopping 4.99 USD Where did you get this?
From the episode where the Enterprise meets the Borg?
Definately a Jean-Luc Picard quote..........as for the episode, no clue.
No. Unfortunately you can't give your fleets commands like that. I would be cool to just once say 'Attack pattern delta, engage'
if you haven't played bioshock id get that, now
Have you found a work around to the mouse lag for Bioshock. All the things I've tried don't work. The game imo is not playable on the pc with the lag. It sucks cuz I was dying to play it and now I have a $40 game that is basically a coaster.
Hmmmmm. It says that your serial number is wrong BEFORE you even install it. It says that when you first put the disk in?
Adding the best features of SoaSE
Speaking of that game......is it any good? Has anyone else out there played it?
Q1: Dont know....haven't tried it yet Q2: Put logos here: My Documents > My Games > Twilight of the Arnor > GFX > Logos The 'logos' will be your icons on the map. There is also: My Documents > My Games > Twilight of the Arnor > GFX > portraits These will be what a race looks like when you talk to then NOTE: ALL images must be saved as a PNG file(or it will not work) and not be more than 150X150 in size.
Hmmmm, Ive been looking for that 'contrast' also....I'll try your method
