Is now possible with Bay Trail processors. I've been playing on Dell's Venue 8 Pro. Performance is surprising. My frame rate is typically around 40-60 and turn times are quick. Overall, a great experience. My only complaint is that clicking small items can be difficult. The battery lasts about 4 hours with brightness around 33% (plenty bright). 5+ hours is possible by limiting the max proc state to 50%. Even with the proc limited, my frame rate hovers around 30, which is suffi

I was shocked to find that Galciv 2 actually runs on my Thinkpad Tablet 2 ( http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/tablet/thinkpad/thinkpad-tablet-2/ ). The TPT2 is lighter than an ipad 2, yet runs the full version of windows 8. It's cpu/gpu is an intel atom proc, unfortunately. So most newer games either run at unplayable frame rates or refuse to launch. But, some of the classics, such as
Sup brad, How much longer til MP patch is done? You promised me this in PM once.

Fix zoom and scrolling
Hurry up with this. That is an order. -Slurple
Fix the edge-scrolling. The rate of scroll should scale depending on the zoom (see Sins), and there is a portion of the edge that does not respond to the mouse (game menu area). Fix FIX FIX, game is broke.
ETA on release?

Galciv 3 as an MMO. It can be done. 4x MMO games are starting to pop up. I've listed some examples below. None of these have been that succesful yet (at least in the commercial sense) but perhaps galciv will be the first. Beyond Protocol Celetania Cosmic Surpremacy Saga <
I am not impressed.
Every time I select a race and hit next, it thinks I have selected a custom race. Whats wrong?
This is hilarious.
RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will the next version be compatible with TA?
Where can I download the BSG mod? I don't see it in the Library.
Same issue with my mods window.
Does anybody else wish that the edge-scrolling scaled with the zoom level? On large maps when you zoom way out, scrolling moves like a turtle when using the edge of the screen. If you compensate for this by increasing the 'edge-scroll' speed in the options menu, then when you scroll while zoomed in it moves WAY too fast.
troll, of the anti-grammar variety
Why not combine Galciv 3 with a Spore type editor. Allow us to design our own races and buildings like that to use in our games. Give us emotional connections to our people. Make us care. Obviously the spaceship editor is already in, but perhaps make a version thats less blocky and edgy. More round softness. Organic tech ships.
How about a feature that populates your
There's no point in Brad's answering this thread. He's already done so in multiple other places. It's not possible to "give us the tools." He'd have to give us the source code and someone would have to re-write most of the game. There are so many reasons that either one won't happen that it's near ridiculous. If it's been done for other games, it's simply because the engine of the other games made it possible. This game has no such capability.Give up on making GalCiv2 multiplayable an
