What were you doing just before you hit the turn button? Also, you can go back to the last saved game and try again.
I've been trying that, but no matter what I do I lose and no one is at war.
So I played a custom game (no mods) that was an accelerated start. I could only play Terrans for some reason. I turned off all victory conditions. I was doing real good. Then . . . I lost!!!! How?!!! I get a screen that says "Defeat!" Who wants my saved game to tell me WTF?
Well, let me explain my system. It is nearly powerful enough to run Oblivion at max settings and yet from some time ago, includng SINS, I noticed that my water -cooled system will occassionally crash. Currently, I can play perhaps 30 turns with twilight, but then I will reach a turn in which nothing happens. I know a solution to this, but it is a pain in the ass. The solution is to immediately save the game, quit and then re-load. What am I doing wrong??
when i try to purchase from star dock central and click purchase, it takes me to the main web page and i only see the option to buy with money/credit card.
I can't seem to. I have five.
am i going to be able to buy this with tokens???
Am I going to be able to purchase this with tokens?? I can't seem to now? thanks.
in stardock central I have 5 tokens left to purchase something from total gaming.net, but when I click purchase I don't appear to have an option to use my left over tokens. please help.
I hesitate to play this game at this time anymore. someone has started a thread about the lack of info on the tech tree in terms of what EXACTLY you get with a given research goal. But the same is questionable for planetary structures and ship modules. Thing is, I am playing against an A.I. that knows everything. You know, sometimes I get a trade request and I can't recall if I have it already or if I have a more advanved version . . . without exiting the trade request and possibly k
In the Stardock Central application, I only needed to use the "tools>>check for application updates" option and this newest patch showed up, ready for me to highlight the new version that was under the "available" column and select "install" Twas a pretty fast patch too. DA went from 1.59[b].097 to 1.59[b].098, and heightmaps from 1.59[b].007 to 1.59[b].008. Did you get it ok, knownalien? yes I got it. But it is still a little c
i am not sure that when I clisk "update" anything happens. I am left looking for a "version" number somewhere at startup. I just fell like having a middle man mabe loads files onto my computer which I am supposed to later execute. It's the first series of games where a 3rd part software does it. I am weary of it.
this is great. sure would be nice if someone like me had any clue about how to find this beta patch. but as I have been critical of you guys before, this is simply not a way to "update" games. Stardock . . . does it do it's job or not? I am used to downloading updates and hitting the .exe file, not having some middleman do it for me. it's confusing guys. you have a new game coming up: sins of a solar empire. If I hear stardock is being used I won't buy this game.
it is for this reason that I think the devs need to tweak the AI so that they are part of the other races as for as galactic meetings and as far as being able to use spies on their planets.
the patch did much to rectify this if i recall correctly. in any event, the mega event should be quite cool as long as it applies to all of the races. i have learned to really like mega events, so long as it doesn't appear to look like an AI cheat.
Hitting "update game" just opens another program with no mention of a patch AND flushing the settings as stated above does nothing. It shouldn't be this difficult. Seriously. You may also need to check 'Show pre-release versions' (it's shown at the foot of the Games page in Stardock Central) in order to see the latest update. You'll know yourself that fixes released between major patches for a game can also introduce new problems
sorry, but I just don't understand what to do here. I have done what it said and the only thing I see is something about windows vista 5.5
I don't know if this is a bug because I may just be doing things wrong. But I will explain the scenario: you have a ship with 6 moves per turn. You select it and click on a spot where you want it to go. Now in my mind, in that turn (assuming it had not used up its six moves already i.e. 6/6) it should immediately move 6 "moves" toward said spot. Then you hit the "turn" button. The computer does what it is going to do. Then the "turn" button reappears. Here's where the "problem se
I made a custom race I thought were pacifists. I played as the altarians. eventually, they declared war on me anyway.
the farming is excellent (as are the 300% bonus tiles) for one really important thing: fighting invasions. You take a hit in morale, but certain planets (like 12 billion pop and higher) are VERY hard to take if you have researched all techs which contribute to soldering.
I was certain they were nerfed a little after the most recent patch.
I have decided to play the campaign of DA on cakewalk. I can't beat this level!! The DL have friggin over 100 firepower within only a few months into the game. ideas?
I have noted #15 before. I THING it was fixed in the most recent patch.
Galatic Lottery except that your money went NEGATIVE.
post patch, when the DL showed up on me in two games, their population was 20!!! just 20. I don't recall if it was thousand, or million. but it was just the number 20!!
