Are you missing a freighter in the starbase's zone of influence? The planets have trade routes leading to other planets. Does the effect have to wait until a freighter enters the zone of influen
....just built a trade module on an economic star base witin range of my only two planets. I see no increase in any of the economic/trade numbers. What am I missing?
This shortcut doesn't seem to be working for me. Anyone know why?
Am I missing something or is the custom race tab almost meaningless. Each race is highly customizable, almost to the degree that they can be made to be homogenous. There is some mention of inherent bonus that are lost if one customizes that ability but it’s not easy for me to see how that applies. It seems to me that each race, along with the custom race, gets 10 ability points to pass around. Some things such as logistics won’t be quite the same. Home world size is different for two r
OK...I found my colony ships by clicking the build ship button and seeing them in orbit. I sent them there to unload colonists. I guess they did.
Sometimes I can’t get a hold of my colony ships. I see them on the ship list. They are near a planet but I can’t manipulate them or see them. What am I missing? I sure do appreciate you guys. The manual and the wikia seem incomplete. I really liked MOO I & II. I can see a lot of strategic depth to this game but so far it has been mostly work

"These resources contain a type of metal that is extremely valuable in trade. The net result is that the more of these you mine, the greater your economic ability is increased." Is there a value or some other way to quantify how valuable mining is to one’s economic ability?
....thanks
I have just discovered Impulse drive and am trying to upgrade my colony and survey ship with it. When I click the upgrade button, I do not see that the new engine is available. I would appreciate some explaination. Thanks.
Not sure of where you got that idea of how pop growth occurs. It is wrong on most counts. ...it is a copy and paste from the game manual. Thanks for the wiki reference. I see that it contains understandable information.
...what does this mean? Food is produced in megatons/week, which serves as a limit for your planet’s population. Each megaton (mt) can feed one million people. Since a planet’s default production is 3 mt/wk, you’ll need to add farming projects to grow your population beyond 3 million. Population growth occurs at a fixed rate of 200,000 per turn, or .20 M on the population display.
