I got the Kyro mod, you mean I can make my own star trek,star wars, star blazer ships with it? That will be so cool. I played maybe 3 hours last nite of GC II, half hour playing the game 2 and half hours just making my first scout craft for the looks.
Say a planet starts with 12 tiles, like your home planet. Can you research tech that will make it have say 15 or 20 tiles later? I move my cursor over the planet and it says inhospitable or something like that, can you research tech that will make it hospitable? Or are we stuck with what the planet starts with?
wow that is too much for my little brain. is there a file that I can download or can someone out of there good little heart make one for me if it's not too much? I am not good at editing, espically now that i have a sticky key board, it's hard lol

have reinstalled the game, seems ok now, just wish i wasn't too tired, starting new games every few turns learning new things. just wish when in the research screen, when it says future results of a tech it would hyperlink to what it is, I have go todesk top, go to galatopedia, see what it is and back togame game again. a bit frustrating when almost everything else is hyperlinked already. Great game by the way so far.
Have to reinstall my game again, since I did a boo boo. My question is how do you guys create your race? Why do you use them? I love the spy race so thinking of maxing out my spy trait, is it worth it? should I put those points to something else? I noticed and think this is awsome you can pick your own starting tech. As the title said, I downloaded the Collector edtion patch. Just found it today. I first installed the game on thursday. Installed the stardock central, then it upgraded it to 1.31 or what ever the current version is. Today I installed Kroyol ships mod, and then again today I noticed the Collector edtion patch and installed it,and then started a game. When i went to the ship design screen I can't rotate any ship parts that i want to add. all the arrows below the ship are faded
I have downloaded Kyro's Hull mod. Are there other mods that are must haves, or are fun to play with? My other question is, are there other mods that just have ship picks? I looked at the star trek mod and just want the ship pics, like star trek and star wars, but dont want no other changes yet. Once I learn the game I will install the Star Trek mod. I can get 24 bottles of water from 3$-5$ depending on the store. Even 3$ for 24 bottles of water, filling that up with gasoline will still be cheaper. I costs more to dig for oil, transport the oil, and refine and deliver the gas to the gas stations. It shure dosn't cost that much for bottling water like petroleum is, but we pay way more for water, but we are crying about gas prices. That is what I ment where are our priorities. Even at 5$ a litre it would still be cheaper than
over here in canada it is around .81 cents a litre. You know what is funny, we pay 1$ for a bottle of water, and if you fill that bottle with gas, it will be around .25 cents. It costs a heck more to get oil, refine it to gasoline than it is for water. Where are our prioities? We cry and complain for gas, but it's so much cheaper than bottled water. So what are we complaining about again?

I just got the game, installed it, and updating it now. Is there anything I should do besides to learn the game? Surprised it's taking this long. I believe I am going to be getting GC II. Tried the demo didn't get past turn one. So much to learn, love all the options, but I have a really good feal for GC II. Downloaded the demo, love the game so far, just noiticed that SE V is suppose to be out. I asked a few questions about GC II and am excited in getting it, but didn't have money to get it. I might have it this weekend, and I am wundering do I get GC II or SE V. The only reason I am thinking of SE V is because it's suppose to have detailed tatical space combat. Ok guys, I will play with the demo until I can get the game either this weekend or next weekend. Wish me luck in getting it this weekend guys. did some playing the demo and research. wow this game is great, never got into combat, very simplistic but but fun fun fun. I love it, so far. Love the music, gives good atmosphere to the game. I see I will need GC II to play the expansion, so I will get it then figure out how to get the expanison since I don't have a credit card. Please Please reconsider StarDock and sell in stores So
