Title says it all. I am working on enhancing the minor races in my game, and to that end, I was wondering if it's possible to get their ships and starbases to show up for sale or trade in the diplomacy window. Clearly the AI majors are able to buy the minors' ships, as I see minor ships popping up in major fleets all the time. But is there a way to make them accessible to me? Thanks in advance.

One of my biggest points of frustration with this game is how, after AI players come into serious money, they crank out hundreds and hundreds of ships, literally spamming the galaxy with them. It makes wars a pain, it makes keeping track of everything a chore, and it makes the map a cluttered and "unrealistic" mess. I understand that this isn't a problem for most players, but I enjoy some role playing in my games. In particular, I prefer a Star Trek-style universe (often using the ST
Yeah, I'm using TA. Thanks for the help!
I want to design a mod in which only beam weapons and shields are accessible to the major and minor races (including the human player). I know that this makes the game less complex, yada yada yada. But I want to do it for the particular look and feel of a thematic setting I'm working in. My question is: what is the easiest and most elegant way to go about blocking access to missiles/chaffs and guns/armor? If there's a very quick and easy way to do it, preferably that requires onl
Just a heads up - I don't have forum access otherwise I would post this on your forums - the game crashes every time I go into a United Planets meeting. I have the mod installed properly without corrupted files and got the ship fix working and everything. But this keeps happening with United Planets every time. Just so you know.
I don't mind the clicking, personally. I enjoy the suspense of waiting to click and find out the results. If the results just popped up without any control over their revelation, I'd be disappointed.
