Our Star Trek forum is down for the time being. No worries, we'll have it back up and running before too long. Thanks

Sorry, I've been playing too much Rome Total War. Yes the Klingons / Arceans problem was some thing we forgot to change. It's not user error. We have fixed the issues and have a new build ready. Unfortunatly due to the amount of stuff we have put in the mod, the memory issue is really bad. I really hope Stardock fixes the memory bug. Until then we're on standby.
Darwyn, Sorry about that. You're account has been activated.
Rhamiel, your account is now active.
Looks awesome!!!
Canine33, your account has been activated.
Please keep in mind the Men and Women that served and died for their countries. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. I would also like to take this time to say thank you to all US Military forces here in the States and serving else where in the world. We truly owe our way of life to you. Thank you for everything you do.
Well, when we spend all of our spare time working on the mod. I hope that's acceptable!!!
PlaidAvenger, you are now active for the Star Trek Forum. Sorry about that we have been lazy in our forum duties.
NavyBert you are now active to post on the ST forum.
We hear you NavyBert and we're working on it. Unfortunately we're down to two active modders at the moment but we have been working hard on a stable build. WWW Link If you have any questions please stop by our forum.
I agree. The Borg are easy. We're working on tweaking the races. We're also looking at minor race problem. Hopefully we'll have a fix for that shortly.
@Drengin, Thanks for proving my point. The way people ask is what I take exception too. Like you response. Good intentions but you come across like a bull moose in a China store. I've been in the modding game a long time so I don't need you to lecture me about what I can and can't expect. @Kryo please deleted this thread. thanks
First and fore most thanks for the feedback. Please keep in mind that if a modder doesn't included install instructions that's his or her prerogative. You can debate that fact as much as you like but it still doesn’t change it. In all honesty I was really put off by this post. I spent a good chuck of time and resources working on the models and thought I would be nice and share them. In fact I have other packs completed but I really don’t think I’ll release them now. My time in th
Thanks Stefan.
Good April fools joke!!! Be nice it's my birthday. Yes it's truly my birthday!!! Take a look at the post again. It explains what you need to do.
The first ship according to the two guys that created the model is the Oneil. There is a weaker variant which is the Valhalla class. Yes there will be more packs to come!!!
The Asgard Ship pack has been released. You can get it here. WWW Link unrar the files using winrar to the C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar\Gfx\Models directory.
Is there a way to specify a location of a model instead of having them all on the root of GFX\Models directory? For example if you continue to add models for a mod more than likely you will run into the issue of png files that are named the same. Obviously that’s not a good thing because your ship textures will get screwed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I've been working on converting SG Ships. WWW Link
@Brownzie, A couple of people made some cool maps but I don't think anyone has put together a full scenario. @Pjpeter, Yes we are working on making it 1.5 compatible. Thanks
Please make sure you delete any races files, ship files and save game files located in the C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 directory. Otherwise you will have issues running the mod. As far as the the mod extraction problems please refer to the multiple posts on this subject. Most people find that a download manager takes care of this issue.
I can understand your frustration but the download works. I've tested it twice in the last 48 hours without any issues. We wouldn't of release it if had major issues. Make sure you are downloading it from this location: WWW Link If you are using a slow internet connection use a download manager program.
