yea well, it was probably some kind of precursor event because I had no other problems during that game (other than the Snathi repeatedly declaring war on other ppl. I guess they just aren't very smart dimplomatically). and if it was a driver conflict, it probably would have said in the CTD alert. I probably should be looking in the CTD error details more often. anyway, if it happens again I'll post about it.

maybe its something like international relations? or interspecies relations in this case. also, on a similar thing, what would the popularity graph mean? popularity with what, other races?
also, it helps to obsolete older ship designs sometimes which reduces the clutter.
sometimes I have a little bit of lag when waiting for the turn, this is usually in the late game though when the computer has alot of ships and stuff to move around and update, its only a few seconds lag and related to the computer needing a few more seconds to do stuff. and moosetek is probably right, there may be something running in the background. stuff like anti-virus scan will slow the computer down even though its in the background. Also, run defragmenter if you haven't recentl
yea well I tried to do it with a problem I had with CoV and things got messed up and I had to revert and somehow they cleared up. But the thing is that the CTD wasn't related to graphics as I am having NO graphics problems. sure there is a little bit of lag in late game, but thats due to the number of ships and other stuff on the map. I'd rather have a Stardock dev look at this because you two are saying its my graphics card, but I'm saying I have no graphics problems! and
I have not had any video problems and I have that Omega driver update which the debug is probably not detecting. there weren't any other problems when that suddendly ouccured.

well it was in the late game and while I was waiting for the comps turn there was an error popup and basically a CTD. it doesn't work that way, you can't upgrade from one size hull to another. I don't know anything about copying a design however. but if someone does know, I'd like to know about it too
How the heck do they make fleets out of single ships? Because it's maso....oh no, wait, that one I don't know. Actually I've seen this happen before and its a minor bug, somehow maybe when a ship gets destroyed or leaves a fleet it gets stuck with the fleet designation, I've seen it happen a few times with transpor
me?? the part about the xeno farming is my own observation.
ok, lets get back on topic here. What about the other stuff like the Hyperion stuff or the Omega stuff? and the various 'galactic wonders'? someone needs to update the OP list. I'd like to add one too though, the more advanced farms beyond the initial xeno farming can really hurt you because with large populations (around 20 billion plus) even on high class worlds pushes down the approval on those planets down and even the most advanced morale improvements will barely help that because 99%
definetly cool sounds like these Korath, who are a splinter group (they are still the Drengin species, just a break-away faction I think) are the Drengin, Romulans, and Klingon mixed together and ending up with a bloodlust desire to simply exterminate all other species and the Drengin clan leader is going 'hey, conquest is fine, but genocide is not honorable'. So its a kind of internal Drengin conflict
and why would you have a colony module and a troop module on a ship? doesn't make sense because it can't perform both functions in the game Yeah, it can perform both, BUT if you have 1000 soldiers and 500 colonists, you'll only colonize with 500, and invade with only 1000, so if you actually use it, you're going to lose some people. which w
yea, I wonder whats up with that too.
well I'd like to see them as I'm curious as to what the pics were. maybe you could just link to them or dunno. and dmo4, its not really a good idea to just broadcast your email in broad view. I know most ppl here are ones that won't do something bad to your email, but you never know.
not to mention the pics on the front page are broken.....
hmm, did you look at what the fleet is made of? the second part about the AI advantages could be from a racial bonus and possibly one of those buildings that increase logisics. the thing about the bunch of stuff on a tiny hull. with enough miniturization, a racial bonus like the Yor have, and probably a few of those buildings that increase miniturization, and maybe alot of those random events that give you extra miniturization capability could allow that to happen. Under the right con
WOW, that one would be an absolute rarity
I saw it in my last game which was 1.2 full, although I didn't use it myself. like Darth Griffin said, if you did a saved game after the patch, then thats probably why.
this thread really should be in the offtopic section.....
Hey, it's a big galaxy, there could be a real race out there somewhere that resembles a smiling hamburger. There was one in Ascendancy. Well, you couldn't really tell if it was smiling or not. And if you could, would that indicate friendship or hostility in their minds? Or nothing at all, because maybe they just react to chemical changes in thei
I got the full 1.2 update and the mod works fine for me.
