Why did you make this post???? Really, just look at the screenshots, right at this site, and compare. If your game looks worse, then you can start asking whats wrong, if it looks the same, then you are just too picky In my opinion this looks better than Civ4, but then again i am a spacefreak.

Sigh, i love this game, i really really do. But i get so sick of one particular issue, so sick in fact that it just puts me off, i press ctrl+S and i quit the game. Until i come back and do it all over again.. The issue being that once you have loaded a game with custom ship designs (anything other than the prebuilt), you are basically screwed. Actually the second point is in the game, either if you equip your own freighters with weapons, or if you build the Galactic Privateer achievement which protects your trade routes, OR if you get a Yes on the vote for a global equip of guns on traders!!

Then i noticed that those ships were not availible to any other race but my custom race, and thats a good thing! But are they only availible to that particular saved custom race, or for EVERY custom race that i may create in the future? I would very much like to have a fleet of designated ship d

This feature is actually mentioned in the video tutorials, are they not? You should know about it =D

I know, the rotate thingys are just too much work, and often doesnt work out as you expect. I would want a simple mouse-wheel scroll while having a part in my "hand" to rotate it around, instead of spending nearly 5 minutes on a single hardpoint trying to get it to face the right direction

I would just like the actual pre-build colony ships to be REALLY expensive, like 2000 bucks or so, so that you cant afford them until you actually have nothing else to spend the money on, hence leaving some planets uncolonized until later in the game. (this would of course also apply to the colony module cost.)
