Sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong place... I have been trying to update the Star Trek Mod post off and on nearly all day, and I have not been able to, is the forum having issues? I can get to the editing part but any time I submit the edit it just sits there and loads indefinately. I have updated another post I did as a test, and it worked fine, is there a problem with the forum right now, or am I just doing something wrong?

Sounds like a good idea to me, course I need to talk to Han and Knight about it as well, but I think they'll be game. We have our hulls working fine, but are experiencing the weirdest bug I've seen yet. At first our hulls show up perfectly fine, all the races are using the correct one and all can be seen. If we need to restart for any reason, when we reload the game, you can't see the previous ships already out there, and/or the computer races are using someone elses ship

sounds very cool! we'll definately be looking into it! rav8 we are also workign on a beta beta release for DA and the Star Trek Mod - interested in exchanging information? I've already admitted in the past we referenced a lot of the work you did in the bab5 mod to avoid problems in our own (learn from others!) so was hoping we could help each other out.

Is this mod going to be converted to DarkAvator? Yes, its already in the works. We actually have it working in DA alraedy, just not utilizing some of the new features in it yet, but we are already planning and working on it. I wanted to see what the views were on modding DA already. I understand there are a lot of bugs to still work out and that modding a game that is already buggy isn't the best idea, and you won't always be contributing to finding problems in the game... I have the same problem in my mod.... No crashing though, just my ships are all "gone" as in I can't see them, but they are there if I zoom out and I can click on them, just no model is being used. And all the computer AI's have switched ship styles. Haven't seen it except for when in a mod. And it always happens AFTER I have to reload a game.

Oh yeah, forgot that little detail... We are working on a new project to redo a lot of things to make this and other parts easier. We are also looking into putting out a chat for everyone to use, not just for the mod, but any gal civ fans, and may potentially open it up rooms for the other mod teams out there currently if they want to use them.

Well, while it wouldn't be possible to mod a true Terror Star, you could come close in a few aspects, as well as modding a mobile starbase....especially in Dark Avatar with the Spore component...it would end up pretty cheesy and not nearly close enough to truely be called a "terror star"
