First - Thanks for all the work you guys put in! You are really the first gaming company I'm aware of that has committed so much communication between you and your customers/fans! Its great. Wow Looks awesome! Really can't wait! Defiantely preordering this don't know why I haven't already. I have a question though, will these updates change many of the mods that are out there? Like the new tech tree, will we have to redo any work we've done on the tech tree? Just curious, I'm sure its well worth it!

What is the difference between located in the Tech tree under Impulse Drive and Warp Drive and located on the Ship Components? I know the relates to how far you can move, and I think that the tag is for combat speed, but does it make any difference? Any at all? Or is it one of those tags that originally had a purpose but is no longer used because of a problem with how AI used it?

Wow, great to see this thread still going I started it long before I started work on the Star Trek Mod. Geeze, spill the beans why don't ya guys? Yes we want to test out the idea of ship jewelry to design your own ships. It would be one hell of a task though, the pieces are easy, but the hardpoints and positioning would be very difficult. We think we are going to test it first with the Federation ship hulls.

Half of Terraners Team left...I was told that his team had many members when I joined it... Anyways, yeah 3 of us split...So I guess there were six people working on the other one... Cyong did do a great job on the site and provided things we can't even provide right now... We plan to reduce the size of this greatly, just need to work on a few things first. People with low bandwidth will be helped. All honestly, the Intro doesn't take up too much space compared to whats there, it sould still be a huge download. There are other easier ways to handle this.
