Thats GFaqs in general - the community is pretty horrific nowadays.
Gamefaqs used to be awesome, until they merged with GameSpot. Absolutely everything went downhill from there. It's still a good source of Walkthroughs and FAQs, though - especially for older games.

You do a disservice to the unit creators who put in hundreds of hours of work in the mod. I'll leave the rest to Kael to set straight. I don't understand your crusade against FfH in this and other threads. But I well remember the years of watching the unit art develop. Hats off to the FfH art

If you're using a controller for a PC game, it's not really a port. The main problem with ports is usually that they play horrendously with PC controls. It is fairly obvious that this problem disappears if you have a controller. But controllers are for all intents and purposes an inferior means of control and I'd like to avoid stooping low enough to get one, just because the industry have decided to force-feed me bad ports.

Man, this is INSANELY awesome stuff, right here. Wow. I am amazed. From the looks of it, it can be put in the game and be impossible to distinguish from the main game. Hahaha, seems like the image have been reduced/enlarged to 868/15, Dog. :D ( Edit : Eek, you fixed it. That was quick.) That said, this is an excellent offer. I'd take it, if I didn't already have GalCiv2. :)

Man, I'm not sure what makes me the most sad. The fact that a stand-alone FfH-game fell through, or that Kael has moved on to Civ5, that craptastic abortion of a sacrilege.
Please get him over to Elemental!! I hardly play Civ 4 WITHOUT the FfH2 mod!!!!!
I have never finished a game of Civ4. I have played FfH2 for days on end. For a second there, I completely forgot that FfH2 was a mod.

I'm assuming it's the whole first person controls vs god in the sky controls, but the interaction between people in game really sells it for me.
I was just thinking how incredibly DIFFERENT they are. They have little to nothing in common, other than the fact that you STRIKE THE EARTH in both. I can't wait for Minecraft to have proper multiplayer. It's going to be awesome, with
Well, after reading that post Frogboy started (you can't miss it, it's 15 pages long already), looks like Lan play is "not quite" possible right now. Each person has to purchase their own copy, and, you have to be connected to the internet to play. But my friends are going "but that's not Lan play!?!?". Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's about the same as SC2 multiplayer (at the moument), you'll all be playing each other via

As someone who didn't pre-order until it was said that the game would have LAN-support as opposed to the "Stardock servers only" that had been discussed prior to that point, I feel nothing short of cheated. I genuinely thought Stardock was different. Turns out I was wrong. Would that I could get my money back. I now see what the pre-order-and-get-beta scheme is all about. [e digicons]#:([/e]
