Hmm what if the negative attributes COST you attribute point, rather then freed them but gave bonus points at the games end.

It will take 10-20 years for those alternatives to become wildly available, and all hybrids will do is decrease market sensitivity to price increases. Oil is a product with little economic sensitivity, and this means they have no reason to lower prices in the short term (read 10-20 years), and that they might as well milk us for all they can until the environment forces them to either an equilibrium or viable competition with your alternatives force them down to 0 or little economic pr

The market only sets prices in a perfect competition and monopolistic competition. Oligopoly's and monopoly's both have a fair say over prices. Add that to the price fixing and setting going on in the Oligopolistic Oil industry and it is anything but fair (although ironically it's called a "fair return" in economic terms). Add the Natural price increase from the growing demand from the third world and fixed production quotas well below natural production would have it you get a nigh

I have this problem as well, I'll send a zip (if I can zip it) after I re check it.

Damn so it's not fixable? It is a sad day. never mind, it's not worth playing with such a sparse set up, I won't need the 1.8f update anyways most likely.

Is there a way to make it so the number of worlds/stars in a map is pre-version 1.8? It's just horrible to have large+ maps on abundant all look like a desert.

Oh, I had just confused my DDR 333 Ram with DDR3. My mistake I had though they just put only the first 3 for simplicity's sake.

Okay, theres probably a better place to put this, but off topic works. I have a neon 500w power supply, on the back is the standard on/off switch, the fan speed dial, and something else. It's a red switch that has the number 512 on one part and 115 on the other, it's always been set to 115. What is it? What does it do? The other is, , I had alway though DDR3 was superior to DDR2 SRDRAM, yet despite both being old RAM types DDR2 is much more popular, why? was I wrong.

Could it be percentile based? The first level of spore would have say a 20% of working, and the chance of the spore ship working on a planet would increase as you research along the spore techs? This way you get the best of both worlds. early spore rushing, but an "increase" in research costs to do it effectively.

I in fact never liked TA, and am probably one of the few people to dislike it. But that said SupCom looks like the better RTS atm. OTOH C&C3 Might be worth it, I find it's a 50/50 toss up as to weather a C&C game is good or not(even when Westwood owned and made it). Wait and then buy after release.

Edit: I'm not completely sure, but I am pretty sure it's grey area because of something called precedence. meaning the game becomes so old the owner no longer bothers to defend there copy right. This sets a precedence for allowing people to ignore the copyright. Thats an extremely simplistic form of it, but thats probably why.
