No. In the Starcraft II article in PC Gamer, Blizzard said they won't make any changes, so they can preserve the "Starcraft feel", which in my opinion is a bunch of bullshit.
I doubt that you're paraphrasing that correctly. I've followed Blizzard's statements about SC2, and they never say that they won't make changes. They do say that they want to keep the feel of the original Starcraft though, which makes sense since they ARE making a sequel to Starcraft. If it was an en
That is the exact description of a Blizzard fanboy. Just look at all the stupid conventions they hold, which the main purpose is to glorify themselves. People dress up like idiots, and pratically memorize obscure Blizzard stuff. That is the definition of a fanboy.
Definitions are subjective. You are using a negative connotation of 'fanboy' rather than the positive connotation of 'fanboy', which is where my disagreement comes in. To state it plainly, "You're trolling." I r
Wait your saying that because Blizzard is a compuuter company they dont have "fanboys"?I personally think that D3 will be an amazing game but this is coming from a total blizzard fanboy. I have played every game Blizzard since the original warcraft oncluding wow for a while. Blizzard has created some of the most memorable charcters, worlds, and stories that have ever been told through gaming or any entertainment medium.
Well, by saying that Blizzard doesn't have any "f
I read somewhere in a recent Q&A session that Blizzard tends to announce their projects 1-2 years before they're released. So I wouldn't expect a D3 release until either late '09 or early '10. I'm expecting SC2 to be an early '09 release, but I would be pleasantly surprised if it turned out to be late '08. Regarding Blizzard "fanboys", Blizzard does not have "fanboys". This isn't a console war where people blindly follow while bashing. Blizzard has had near two decades to gather their c
Diablo 3 looks like it'll be fun to play. Especially multiplayer co-op with a group of friends. Out of Blizzard's 3 main franchises, Diablo is probably the one that I've played the least of, since I played and beat the first one, but didn't get too far into D2. It's still a fun franchise and I enjoy the lore and background behind the world of Diablo. Yes, I read all of the lore-related material that came with the manuals and I still remember some of it too.:) It seems like this third in
While I like the idea behind the Scout, I just can't get a handle for him. His speed works against my aim, at the moment. If I played as Scout more, I would eventually become more accustomed to using him.
That'll be fun to see. I haven't tried out the pyro update yet, but it'll be nice since I liked playing as the pyro even before the update. Required less accuracy...
[quote... I accidentally erased all my creatures so when it asks if you want all data erased say no.
If you uploaded your previous creations, you can just download them from the Sporepedia through your profile.
Eh, it doesn't really make too much of a difference to me. I had to push myself to finish up the last hour or so of the game. Not that it's bad, but it wasn't what I thought it would be. I've had it uninstalled for quite some time now. I've been considering re-installing it just for the heck of it though.
I'm guessing that you save it before you hit the 'save and exit' button now, am I right? You should post that problem in the Spore tech help forums and see if anyone else has the same problem and if they have a workaround.
Actually, you don't need to keep a hand on the arm. You can just pull it off and put the 'stinger' directly on there instead.
In case you guys were interested, you can search for 'Angelesque' in the Sporepedia and my angel-like creature will come up. The Succubesque creature can be found via links in my spore profile. It's currently not searchable nor is it listed in my profile, all due to errors that are affecting some users.
They have butts O_O
Yes, they do. It took me some time to get the proportion correct.
Here are two new creatures that I made recently. The first one was uploaded, but it still hasn't shown up on my profile or on the Sporepedia. The second one is up, but it seems like someone didn't like it. Both of them took me some time to fine-tune.
While browsing through this I just figured out something...Back in 2005 when Spore was JUST being introduced at GDC 2005, Will Wright was talking about the inevitable rise of production costs of making games. So... instead of having content created for the user, the user creates the content. This led me to thinking.... So the jobs of content creation has essentially been outsourced. Not only that, we have to PAY $10 just for the privilege of creating content, rather than E.A. pay
I really hope with the final game that you can choose who you want in your universe. Because i have no intention of having weird and sexual creatures that looks something like in this video. And i bet its only the beginning...
Pardon me while I lol. Although it's "inappropriate" to some, it is rather creative. I wouldn't have thought of that.
Here are pics of my first creature. Click to see it in detail. I was already planning on getting the full editor when it came out on the 17th, but this definitely cements it.
To check their weapons rating and other ability stats, you have to get a low to medium intelligence rating for the civilization in question. Meaning, you need to use spies on them to gather intel. After that, you should be able to see their ability ratings in the diplomacy section. If you want to even out the odds a bit more, try to find their Military Resource Mining Stations and take those out. That should lower their attack and defense by quite a bit. You can also research or trade f
Have you checked your opponents' civilization-wide weapons rating? That may be what's giving them the huge boost, especially if they have a few Military Resource Mining Stations around.
I'm currently playing on an Immense map with max civs, and I did colony rush. I would build recruitment centers to get a bit of an economic bonus plus a population increase, and then I would just let the population build up to a stable level before building up the planet. I never went into the red and I ended up confining the civs near me to small sectors of space. Also, being the Terran Alliance, I bought up all of their newly colonized planets so they pretty much had no way of truly expanding
One thing only:I wish there would be a module for ships to repair starbases! That is the only thing I could think of right now, the others made great suggestions already Do all of it, hehe.
You can already do that. Just send a constructor over to your damaged starbase and it'll give you the option to repair +20 HP or so.
Domestic shipping should be $10, not $20. If you're seeing something different than that, contact .
Yeah, I contacted them yesterday and received notification of a $10 refund. I'm not certain if this refund is being corrected for everyone that had this error, but if you did get this bug, you should probably contact sales anyway.
Hi.Will we get some cover art to download and print like was available with DA?Thanks,Neilo.
If I recall correctly, the retail box is being sent to those who want a cd sent to them. It's the only thing I can think of that would explain the increase in price.
Hmm i just assumed the 20 dollars was a distance calculation? Like when I tried it said 20 dollars cos I am in the UK.Is it 20 dollars no matter what that? That seems a hell of a lot for delivery - even by Rip-Off Britain standards its steep...
Yeah, it's $20 for delivery in the U.S. It seems just a *tad* bit off.
Just wondering, but is it supposed to charge a total of $20 for shipping and handling for the digital download + cd? It seems like it should be $40 total instead of $50. Is that an error or is it intentional? And yes, I paid and am downloading it right now.
