Ok guys. The threads are up for the league so we are officially on. Now there was a couple of issues that many of us were split on. I'm sorry if i did not go with anyone's particular choice but remember it would be impossible to please everyone, there is always a need for compromise and also that we can make changes as we go. Just don't make DA specials a MUST. No. Super abilities will never be requested to be on. They will, unless opinion changes here, a option for the player to choose to play with or not. I don't think that the SA will make a difference in scoring at all. Though someone with a better understanding of the game mechanics will know for sure. Players like Iztoc and Wyndstar come to mind if you get the chance to ask them....

I will admit that i have been preocupied lately with other matters. I do apologize. I am here, currently tending to duties with the Metaverse Council and the Metaverse league at the moment. I wouldn't mind hearing how to make it completely random, the method. If this can be done it would probably be the best way, but I'm not sure how you thinking of randomizing it. That being said though, the Commish could find a planet abundancy setting that could give near equal planets for both the chosen DL and DA games, since I believe the larger number of planets is the biggest scoring advantage DA has This is/was a small concern for me especially on a medium map if the random planet choice was abundant then all DA games will have an advantage straight off the bat. As of my current game, the damn Korath have most of planets and my best wife was on one of them too. Damn Drengin rejects. What is the scoring if someone doesnt post a game? I mean, you say it's minus 1 point for a loss. Does that make it minus 2 points if you dont submit a game? What is to stop someone from playing a dozen rounds and then retiring just to avoid the extra point loss? No submitted score in the time allowed was 0 points. RL does get in the way at times so i thought that this was fair. As for someone losing, well there is nothing to stop them from duping the ga
Rather than making a character "league-affiliated", it might be easier to have characters that only exist for playing in the league. Granted, that means some people might have to remove characters that are already in other empires, but that's not too unreasonable a request, I don't think. My whole idea here is to prevent people from having to remove a character from an empire. It would seem to be in our best interest to allow as many people to play as po
