Here,s a good example. Empire Earth 3 , just released, major patch, straight after. Don't do that. Take all the time you need guys. Get it right first time. So you know what I think. Take even longer if you need to. Work hard Stardock and you'll have no complaints from me.

If that is your argument then what to say that this has not already happened and we are the progeny of said spieces. We can go round and round with this logic but the basic concept of a higher being then us is still in evidence in said argument. Case in point look at us developing AI are we not gods to them. Then what is to say there is not a smarter being who has created us and now will allow us to grow and continue the process. The concept of God does not destroy sci

Intelligence is my evidence I don't need any other. God cant exist, because we can all be God.. Given time, any intelligent being can evolve to know as much, It's that simple an argument PS do you place restraints on the potential of an intelligent species

God isn't energy , God is theology. ok what happens when the universe gets to equilibrium? then it can only exists in a state of unending entropy. what are we left with. Hawking radiation spewing particles into unendinng nothing. black holes fizzling away to nothingness. is this that perfection. the universe is too perfect. no room for imperfection, God would never have made a universe so perfectly in balance. He is an egoti

does our knowledge have limits? To answer you, I think yes. I don't know all, but intelligence is unbounded without limits, I believe intelligence is ultimate I don't put limits on humanity, we are ultimately mortal. I think though that any intelligent species, if they manage to exist long enough can ultimately disprove the God fallacy,

God cant exist because. God states that his creation, the universe is inexplicable and cant be understood But God gave us thought, Intelligence and reason. We as intelligent creatures, given enough time we will inevitably and ultimately know all there is to know about the universe. It is the true nature of intelligence. To answer all questions. But God says we cannot, so why make us intelligent This fallacy alone proves to m

c The point of which is? By the way, the correct way to say it would be "we'll do fine", instead of "they'll do fine" - since at that point the only people were Adam and Eve. And, it should not be "invents", but "invent". If you had written 'and' instead of 'to', "invents' would have been correct. No comment. Pompous twit PS, Which fool would take this seriously.<b

In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth, Upon that Earth God placed Man. Man stood up and said, "Not much of a God are you, whats this shit? Woman then stood up, slapped Man across the face, and said, "it's ok with us God, they'll do fine," Man shrugs, then wanders off and invents football.

because the federation is based in the 13th colony. it was the other 12 colonies that were wiped out by the cylons. remember their trying to get to earth. Hmmmmm. MAYBE the cylons are the borg? Maybe GalCiv2 should have Q as a mega event. And where's Dr Who while all this is going on. Some hero last minute savior he turned out to be, Bloody Skiver.

You are crossing ideas between "universes", and expecting GalCiv to comply with ideas put forward by other franchises. In the GalCiv universe Stargates don't provide instant transport, and that is all that matters. Your argument makes as much sense as insisting that the Battlestar Galactica tie in with Star Trek. Yeah, how come the federation in Star Trek is doing so well when humanity has been wiped out by the Cylons? I don't get it, your

this is a hard one. Vista is cranky now and needs time for all the patches to be written and all the flaws to be sorted out. What have you got. and why do you want better, It might be wist to leave it till the new year to think of a new pc there are so many new things that games designers and others need to get into their heads, understand properly and use to best advantage. Vista/dual/quad core/ dx10. Vista. Still new, still full of bugs a

There's definitely been quite a few lessons taught to GalCiv's biggest competition. As long as they pick their apples from the tallest tree. Then all that GalCiv's developers can do is just sit back content, thinking, Job well done guys. Neil. P.S. we got spies here. looking at all the feedback, Doesn't it make you guys proud, that the "great Sid" will pinch your thoughts. lol

I'm not an avid city builder. But i do like grabbing a few dmo's and checking out whats new. Can't say I'll be collecting cans to pay for this one but hey. it does look like fun if you are into the genre, I guess it will all be decided on how innovative it is and how the critics manage to find differences with current games. I do think that the first sim city was a great leap into the unknown that paid off with loads of new ideas, but this is a hard thing to keep i

in all games nowadays, its like the game hides as much information from the user as possible in order to appear more difficult. You could say it levels the field. as some very experienced players will find all manner of exploits if the benefits were all explained. Would it give other game developers too much insight into the AI if all formula were given out? I guess a BC per xxx number chart cant give too much away or give too much

I do this sometimes , It is good to have races at your mercy and toy with them. When I do use this strategy, It usually means I am also building up to take on some of the more powerful AI's. So I leave a few powerful ships close, then I let them rebuild a bit, not enough to make them a threat then crush them again, demand as much as possible for peace and repeat. Why destroy a cash cow. Just milk it every now and then. You can get the whole galaxy working as your slav

for proof of god i again turn to water, salt, and ice water is made of hydrogen and oxygen which is an explosive. salt is sodium and cloride sodium explodes, burns in water. cloride is a posion. both of these are needed by all/most life on the planet ice is the only solid that floats in it's liquid form. Except maybe dry ice. but i have never seen the solid form of dry ice. what we use is the liquid
