And now, the long awaited story for Gal Civ IX: Meh! (aka Mildly entertaining humans) The year is 3156. After the invasion of the pre-pre-precursors from an alternate dimension's past, the Milky Way galaxy has been exhausted of all its valuable resources. All the mighty empires of all 17.5 major races have been toppled, due to sacrificing everything to repel the invading force. The future seemed like a cold and bleak one for the galaxy, and
I for one would not have forced restrictions forced upon me forcefully. All it would do is limit the gameplay and replayability. With 'locked' bonuses that race is forever doomed the choice of its path of victory, which is the very antithesis to what this game is about: adaptability and change. Each race is designed to be able to adapt to the situation at hand, the tech tree helps reinforce this. Now, if said locked bonuses were able to be
So I started up a gigantic map, everything abundant, loose clusters, and very fast research. Slaped all the races on there save one (the korx), as I had made a custom race (The Hologram Matrix...figured I'd put the default custom race logo to good use...>_>). I ctrl+n'd the galaxy a bit until I was moderately satisfied (I wanted to be near the terrans so I could crush them first, and I also wanted a good number of stars around me and also at least a fe
Heh, I found that to be an interesting read. That some things were changed and cut out caught my attention though...I'd like to know what those were. Ahh, me and my insatiable curiousity... Keep up the good work! Don't ever turn into a souless corporation!
Hehe...i love all three scifi friday shows...i'm also loving doctor who, but that's a different story. I wonder how accurately the cylons and battlestar can be made on here....>_> Hell, imitating the bsg's tech would be nice, it would be much like the carrier in starcraft save that it could fight on its own quite well....and being able to essentially warp anywhere would be nice. non hyperdrive speed wouldn't be so hot though. Som
Frankly, If I was going to give something to my alien friends to fight a war for me, I wouldn't give them my strongest unit as I'd like to make sure I have some good defence for myself. Instead I'd give a few small things/something moderately powerful. Although I suppose trust plays into this decision. If you can absolutely teust said race, then handing over the best you have can be good, but should the trust be misplaced its a recipe for do
Well, I'm more of a console person. I find it much cheaper, because the bulk of the cost mentioned above when buying the TV is something most people have before they get the console. And TV's can be pretty cheap if you just want one that will work like a TV...>_> So taking away the TV cost, I have a ps2 which iirc I payed $150 for. Cost of memory cards: $40. And a bajillion little games alot of which are used....not to mention all my playsta
