well, i respect all religion, as long as they don't try to convert me all the time and they always think, if i don't follow their religion, i will burn in hell.

mini-images don't always for with those 'too powerful for their own good' protections.
well, the connecting to the internet isn't all that bad, as long as i don't need to put the disk in the drive EVERYTIME i play the game. They say we have the right to have a copy for backup purposes and then they come out with this protection crap and that throws out our backup copy rule. Oh well, i guess the old generation of Developers have ALOT to learn.
Well, i hope they stay how they are, the best developers i have seen.
i think a game that uses 3 or more CDs should be automatically put onto DVD instead.
Well, i used to download the games and see what they are like and how hard it is to run the game without the CD/DVD and even if i love the game and its too hard to even run the game without the disk, i don't buy it. Lately though its been way too risky to do that stuff, i really wish demos accually came out BEFORE the retail version does.....but nope. This game is totally worth paying money for, you can just install and put the CDs away and you can play, no other games can
Well, once i meet this girl i chat to, i will try to encourage her to buy this game, it is pretty good...
well, its a pity they made the defenses as it is. why not one type of shield and armor.....but multiple weapon types.
Well, when i play a RTS game, i never do that type of strategy i find it pretty lame and only people that can't play a full scale war do it and its mostly so they win and that just takes out the fun in a Strategy game. I play it because i love playing it, but most people play it to win at all costs, as fast as possible and for some reason people think the faster you win, the better you are and the points don't seem to matter, thats why i never play RTS games with other players now, i
Hey T-Man you made a little spelling mistake or missed out a letter. ------ On Wednesday June 7th, 2006 3:00am EST we will be taking most webservers off line wile we upgrade our primary database system. I am assuming thats meant to be while Also your Race icon is mislabled as Darth Griffin pointed out.
Well, I personally don't play above Beginner, i don't see any benefit for playing any higher, i did try normal once, the difficulty increase compared to points gained is rather stupid. I did see the AI expand so fast it was really unrealistic, it was the Altarians and well, i just gave up with it and stuck with beginner.
Hiya, I just had an idea with ship designs and the new tech that you aquire. Is it possible to make it so that the designs you have get automatically upgraded to the best of whats available?? (ie. like the colonies upgrading the old buildings with the upgraded ones) All it would do is upgrade the ship designs as soon as the tech becomes available, all you gotta do is just upgrade the ships. I just get annoyed when you upgrade your designs, it acts like
Theres a thing called modding. I personally add a new ability to each one (as long as it doesn't exceed 5, otherwise it doesn't work) ofcourse this makes it cheating, so you can't add it to Metaverse....cause it would be so lame. lol
Not really fair, its not like you are making money off of it.
Its a pity its all about rushing in this game, but thats pretty much like any Strategy game. rush ot the good planets or lose. But i always use: +30 Res (4 points) +30 Econ (5 points) +25 Creativity (1 point) You get decent cash, so you can buy the beginning colony ships for all your precious rushing to the habital planets. I still can't manage to out produce the Altarians on
I personally just cheat. lol i don't see any fun in challenges, its more fun to win no matter the cost. >
What is the 'Blind Exploration' Option for???
Oh, i am looking forward to this.
well, you could add a special shield that you get when you finish the shield tech, which has the effect of all the best shields in one. Anti-Laser, Anti-Mass Driver and Anti-Missile But it will cost alot more, but less room to be cost effective. I personally don't like the idea of needing to rush to colonize planets, it reminds me too much like Warcraft III and C&C Generals.
well, the Space Weapons Tech will get you Defenders, which is the first warship you can build, but as you said, the AI seems to have everything before me. lol
Well, all my victories are from cultural victories, i can never win by fighting, the AI seems to ally with me and then declare war, so i go and help and with in 5 turns they make peace and ally together and my ally turns on me.....how unfair is that. The AI make war like its a hobbies, even the 'Good' races do.
I agree, i personally don't plan to play on anything higher then Beginner, but i think the higher difficulty you play, the higher the points you get. Cakewalk = Default score of 10,000 Highest Difficulty = Default score of 100,000 That is more including all the bonus points of your stats. (ie. population, techs)
well, i have finished Half Life 2 on all difficulties and i have yet to feel a single sense of victory you are preaching about. ITs all the same to me......cheating, not cheating, makes no difference to me. i get no sense of victory, no matter how i finish the game. I can't even finish the story campaign, its too repetitive, i get bored and the fact you HAVE to start from scratch each level puts me off even more. <
trust me, its true. especially when its the Altarians.
i still see no point in playing any difficulty above cakewalk...you don't get anything special for doing it.
