Well the serial number is obviously still on the box so I would n't have to give them that but you do need a file sent to you, by Stardock, to activate the extra content. That is what the new buyer would need to be able to get a new copy of. If this is impossible then I will be very disapointed with stardock as games should be able to be resold when they are finished with. Pete

Hi there I wish to sell my copy of Galciv2, preferably on ebay but am not sure how to procede due to the copy protection. I do not want to sell the game and not allow the new user access to the free updates. Advice on how to procede would be appricaited. Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys. Just a few more points to add onto the above 1) Minor races spam influence starbases, why? 1) They need them to cross the galaxy, same as you do. Also, beta 4 AI is much stronger, and starbases often get fully upgraded. I understand this but what I meant is they have two/three/four in close proimity and being minors don't really need them all. 2) AI gives in to easily to other AI playe

Very annoying, and the machine the game is on is not connected to the net. Q2)How do I get the most up to date beta? I thought with Gal civ the user wasn't supposed to have to activate the game with a serial number. ie, no copy protection. Surely the best way to solve this (rather than going backwards and forward between two computers) is to only allow downloads if the game has been registered onlinem, except that is for needed bug fixes.
