Good job martimus!!! Is there a technology to transform a dead planet into a liveable/habitable planet? It's kind of sad these planets are just there without life... in MOO2 (sorry for reference), even radioactive, toxic, barren, desert, turndra, ocean, swamp, arid planets you can research soil enrichment, terraforming (several times, gaia terrforming, to improve environment so you can make it liveable/habitable... Thanks!
I would like to know where I can get whole chest of space themed MP3 music to enhance my game play.. Music like Star Trek, STNG, ST deep space nince, ST Voyager, ST Enterprise Andromeda Babylon 5 BattleStar Galactica Earth:Final Conflict Tekwar Star Wars Stargate SG-1/Atlantis X-Files game: MOO1, MOO2, outpost1, outpost2 etc... Somebody mentioned a link before, hard to search for that... Thanks!!! <img sr
Disciples 2 is a turn based game, if you have lots time on your hands you can play this online with multiplayer.. I just can't afford sitting after my moves and waiting for other's to make their moves... I'll be petrified. Just my own thought...
'Close' meaning the relationship level, better than friendly right? Alright I'll try to be 'close' on that. Thanks people. This is out of topic but related diplomatic option... How about official declaration of war? there's no'declare war' option on the diplomatic talk with the alien leader, but just to send military ships to attack the alien's properties (planet, ships, starbase). How about non-aggression treaty talk? Is there such a thing here? Thank
I have *befriended a lot of races *my influence is 2nd becoming the first *researched the Alliance technology but when I speak any of the friendly alien races, there's no option to make an alliance. I got used to this option on other civ games, why is it missing here? The trade here is more understood as creating a trade ship and send it to the alien planets without having to meet and speak with the alien leaders. Is there such a thing as creating a diplomatic ship
Good post mayito8888 50 years to conquer the galaxy makes more sense than 12 years right? Oh Yeah!!! Let's just assume that the 'week' that is displayed in the game is not Earth week but Galactic week (scientfically, science-fictionally speaking, unofficially), that could be an quivalent of a 1 Earth month, counting the point that we can also play the other alien races which for sure, w
Good comment uncle_bob The tactical mode can be a great deal to tactical players which is missing. Having it as an option is better than none. Maybe the majority of players don't have the patience or mind to play the tactical battles. It would be nice to have an option of controlling the battle 100% knowing that with your genious you can outsmart the opponent (computer AI) the first few or critical battles, but after 10s or 100s of battles, it would be better to let the computer au
I think Stardock did a fantastic job for GC2 in it's time, because nowadays 3D graphics is the norm. Back when MOO2 was the reigning turn based space civ game, 3D was in its early stages. There's a bit more features in GC2, but not a whole lot. Some graphics in MOO2 is still better than GC2, because it's 2D. I can still play MOO2 any day but of course would to try something different now. The features I like for GC2: *good/neutral/evil decision making - making the game a bit s
