So I am currently playing a game as the Krynn, and wanted to really try to build up through trade, diplomacy, and basicly being a good guy =). Well the Drengins have been rolling all the other races, and by being pasive I am now in a situation where the drengins have taken over half the other races and are starting to look my way. If so how does it compare to Galciv2? And does it have multi players? I can read reviews, but I am interested in what the gal civ fans think because galciv sets the bar IMO. I love gal civ but would like to find a simalar game that has multiplayer. Thanks

The big question I ahve, is if you leave the union do all the computer players stick to it's rules? Are there votes in the fture you are not involved in? Seem's like if starbases got limite, leaving would be a huge advantage!

Just doesn't seem like that idea has anything to do with the 4x strategy game. My best hope is that they simply allow pmultiplayer to play just like single player except with lan/online capabilitys. Have options for round time limits, and other than that play as it does now. I do not want them spending a lot of time trying to "bal;ance" multiplayer o anything, personally I would just like it so my friend and I could hang out and play. because I am playing so much now i is the only

Here is why having the Devs make this change is a bad idea--- 1- They have stated that it is easily modded, so do it yourself. 2- If they start changing all these little things, that is how you wrek a game in a hurry, and this is a very very small detail. If you want it so bad, post on the modding boards and request someone make you a mod. IMO, fix the population growth, don't change time to months. Congrats guys! I got my copy last Tuesday strictly by luck! EBgames said they would ahve it Wed, but I couldn't wait. I agree with Citizen BinnisterGC2, this would be a stupid thing to even bother with when they could spend there time working on other things. I mean there is no such thing as BC and I don't see you saying "Lets change it to dollars!". If this is your biggest problem with the game, consider it a victory!

I just won on a diplomatic victory, however I was 1st in almost ever category. My fleets were dominant mainly because of my logistics. I had a 34 logistics towards the end, and my enemys had 15-20ish. My fleets tre them up. at the end I destroyed 292 ships, and lost 92 ships, not bad! This game roxx! Havent stayed up this late playing a game in a long time!

Once you go allies with another civ, can they attack you?

Ok I am in trouble! The Red surrendered to the light blue while he still had a bunch of planets. Red said they made the best offer? How do you offer? Anyways, I am 2nd in influence, still #1 in econmy , research, and population. Light blue and yellow are currently waring agaisnt grey, I have put all military building on hold, and am pumping research big time. Any suggestions on my next move? Should I huncker down and go for a tech victory?

This game would absolutly suck with tacticle battles. In order for them to even have that, that would cut deeply into the resiources to make this a great, if not the greatest game ever. Why in gods name would you want to add hours of meaningless battles to a game that on the larger galaxys can take days to finish.

Great stuff guys! I learned the trick in my last game to build a custom colony ship, way better than the stock ship!
