Hi everybody. Ive never been able to play the campaign because when I load it, it immediately CTDs. Also, the videos function well for a while, but then they freezelag and become basically unviewable. I've tried to put down the resolution and it didnt work. What the h*** is wrong? why do my movies freezelag and why doesnt my campaign want to load?!

I have a game where the Torians surrendered to the Drengin (but well, to be honest, theyd probably suffer a worse fate in my hands, but they got conquered anyway ). Thats annoying yes, but I find it easy to make peace with the AI too. Often I can cancel the most crucial war with just including some tech or two that doesnt really help the AI.

Well... Try to rush-research to Stock Markets. Im experimenting with Technologists and +20% research and some others with a custom race, its going well... except I find myself in the same situation as you, or rather, my economy is so slow that I eventually get bored and want more events... sigh. Anyway, Stock Markets are your big boy friend.

I agree with more random events, I also want more customization for creating a race (more political parties and abilities foremost) and more ship styles. List: Things that weigh heavily upon my mind: - More customization (Ie. more ship styles, abilities & parties). - You decide how much money you start with (but not on the Metaverse). - More things to manage (and by this, I mean things like adapting to planet's terrains and getting bonuses if youre particularil

Ok. Now thats it... if I wasnt the major power id be really annoyed. The last dozen of Torian worlds surrender to the Drengin and say that ''they will protect us from your wrath''. You can just imagine my reaction there. Thats what sucks about the surrender, its completely random. (For those who wonder ive now about doubled my power from that point, and will soon quadraple it).

My docs/my games/galciv2/all the race name files, delete, and it's clear. I just deleted RaceConfig, but it still wont let me change. What file exactly is it that i need to alter/delete? I'd suspect that its a bug, never had it happen though. But I do find the approval ratings to go disturbingly low even though you build 2-3 entertainment facilities, and im not talking the basic ones.

Why is that? and is there any way to change it? I havent looked if they start with Basic Miniaturization, but anyway. I know, if I want it I could just play them, but I dont like their other bonuses .
