This is a really stupid question, but tactical battles means you actually decide what the ships on the Battle Screen does, rather allowing for the computer as now? I'd love a more developed Diplomatic choices. I am aware very few are interested in multiplayer, I would though be in the small minority who wants, if only to be able to play with my best friend. So yes, I'd pay for several more expansion packs, including a MP expansion. Sincerly, TIP

1. Launch of Dark Avatar - Install or Read Me choices, when game is already installed. My solution was to use the Launch of Gal Civ 2 and then just switch chapters, as I then are able to start up DA. 2. When playing DA, the mouse flickers, as well as having what seems like a square around it. Not as much a problem, as an annoyance. What programs can be used to view the files? I am using IE, but are there any better programs? Also, are there any way to know at which progess the campaign files are filed? Would prefer to read the campaign in order, rather than reading the end first and then going backwards... TIP PS! And, thank you for the speedy response...

Yes, one for Radioactive, one for Aquatic, etc. And ofcourse, the regular one for all the planets that can be colonized without added tech. TIP

Donfield, thats exactly what I am referring to. It seems a bit to easy. I am also a but wary of just upgrading the ship, as the same problem remains, that you can just park your colony ship next to an uncolonized planet. Then upgrade and colonize. If you had colony ships of each seperate special world, incapable of upgrading to from a regular colony ship, you would have a "new" colony race beyond the original one. TIP

I love tha fact that the ability to colonize has been stretched further than it was in GC II. However, I still think it happens too fast, perhaps I am just slow, especially now that the limitations on ships engines came up with the new update. Would it be possible to create seperate Colony Ships for each type of the none auto-colonization planets, inso doing making it harder to reach those planets, as those ships can't be built until you research that tech. TIP

Are there any limitations to spies? I.e. can allies place spies on eachothers soil? I would think they could'nt, especially in the case here, since they actually sabotage production. TIP

To be honest, I am not sure. I tried several things, as I thought they had upped the number of ability points, and I then wanted to phase them out on 70% Social Prod, 70% Military Prod and 70% Pop. Growth. But, then I think I pressed Clear. I did reinstall the game, thinking it was something that would be rectified by that, but I don't think that changed it. TIP

I am talking about the GC II - DA. But the balancing they've done by limiting the abiliy point to 5 seems to have backfired, as your previous ability points have been frozen, so that you now in addition to the original 10 ability points, you also get another 5 points. However, I was not aware of this, and managed to cancel out my ability points, so instead of my chosen 10 ability point (50% social prod/50% military prod + 10% pop. growth), I get the default + 5 more, which to be honest

It does not seem possible to alter the abilities already chosen any longer. When I press reset, nothing happens. This is rather annoying and I hope it is possible for this to be recified quickly? Btw, has the # of ability-points increased from 10 to 15? TIP

I just finished my first game, and got to say I love it. What made it even better was the Epic story I could read on the summary afterwards. Although it seems unfinished, which is understandable as this is a beta, I hope, I really hope this feature don't get cut. It was really fun to read the computers version of what happend. TIP

Is'nt it possible to give Minor Races 2 or 3 Colony ship at the start of the game, without giving them the ability to build more ships. This way, they would have the ability to colonize two, three planets, giving them a bigger chance than just being cannon fodder for the greedy human or AI player... TIP

Has Planetary Bonuses been removed? I usually like to have some added aid, especially helpful in the beginning of a game, but now I havent got one game, where bonuses show up? TIP

I did not mean that it had to be 20. Just that I find it strange to be hardcoded to 12, when choices in the game allows for 20 routes. And that the hardcode and max number of routes match up, so if hardcode is 12, then max is 12, or hopefully more. TIP

My idea was not to have unlimited trade routes, but atleast have as many as the game allows for; Regular Techs - 10 Neutral Techs - 3 UP Vote on TR - 4 Abilities +TR - 3 = Total of 20. If it is not possible, there really should not be possible to add more than 12 in the game, and therefore remove UP Vote, as well as one on Neutral Tech and one on Abilities +TR. TIP
