Why aren't my medals showing up?

I know there's a simple answer...

I played my first Metaverse game today after owning the game for a few months. I won then I posted the game results to the server. That went cool, but my medals aren't showing up in my posts. I can see them in my Account Profile, but my posts are still plain. Any ideas? Does it take a few hours to update?

Go to Account->Edit My Characters on the MV site, and click the darkened 'default' button by the character whose medals you want to display. The button will light up to indicate that that character has been chosen.

Hey, I was just curious, are the medals supposed to fall out of their boxes? Or am I just having browser weirdity?
