Fantastic! And I am really looking forward to what the espionage changes will be. A sort of hybrid that combines the two different models would in my opinion.
What game have I been playing? :) But, I am right about the robot changing. I can't just have made that up?
The interface and robot always changes when I am playing. I don't know why yours don't change.
Right now i'm login in every day to see if there is a news update or a new beta, but everyday the result is the same.
This is disappoints me too. I feel that this game is not given the attention it deserves by the devs right now. Of course, I could be wrong and everything runs along the way it should, but it certainly doesn't seem that way. Let's hope for more news soon!
Seems like nobody played or even knows about GalCivII on those boards...
That's the problem. If more people knew about this game it would rank a lot higher.
I don't have much time to play games, but when I do I play Galciv 2. I have only played metaverse games, but lately I have been a little curious about the campaign. So I am considering to start the campaign for my next game. But I am a little unsure, so I ask all of you: Are campaign missions fun? And is the story worth the effort of playing through all the missions?
I've had a 10 to 1 military ratio and a relationship of wary with a particular AI. By gifting a single tech I was able to go from wary to neutral and then within the same turn go from neutral to friendly by gifting another tech.
How did you do this? Whenever I try to contact the same civ twice a turn they always refuse to see me, even if I have the Super Diplomat ability.
Thanks!
I have noticed that a lot of you show your medals in your forum posts. How do I do that?
This has always been an issue for me too. Both in DL and DA.
Just a small note, it was stated that it is planned in the 2.0 patch to be able to assign agents to a Civ instead of planetary improvements. Such agents can't be nullified (or retrieved, for that matter), but only gather information.
Great! This was exactly what I wanted. Now the espionage system will be perfect!
I really like the new espionage system, it is fun to cripple the enemy in another way than just attacking them, but I am wondering if it is at all possible to spy on my allies without hurting their economy, like in DL or GalCiv I?
I noticed that TA would bring a new invasion screen and victory condition. Have Stardock revealed what this means? Maybe an economic victory and more tactical planetery invasion?
