Interface question

Hi, I haven't played Galactic Civilizations since the first one.  I just got Galactic Civilzations 2 and Dark Avatar and I was wondering something.  In the first Galactic Civilization, the interface would change depending on if you were good, neutral, or evil.  Also the robot (the one that tells you when you have completed a research) changes his look depending on your alignment also.  When I play Dark Avatar, the interface does not change if your alignment changes, also it appears that the robot (stated above) will only change if you go the evil route.  He will stay the same look when you are neutral or good.

I really liked the way the interface changed like that.  Did they really take that out, or is there something going on with my game.  A bug perhaps?

The interface and robot always changes when I am playing. I don't know why yours don't change.

There is unfortunately no UI change for the alignments in GC2 (for one thing, there's a lot more UI in general). TA does have a completely new UI design though as compared to DL/DA, and there is the example mod as well which gives a new main screen layout.

What game have I been playing? :)
But, I am right about the robot changing. I can't just have made that up?
