well, it might not be tomorrow, but my boss confirmed that the higher-ups are taking the steps needed to fire me. my boss is cool at least. i made a personal request: if she learns that i'd be given a pink slip on a particular day to let me know so i could sleep in. a man's got to have his priorities in order.

hey KP, did you ever check out our D&D thread over at the ToE site? i found a 'virtual table top' program, and a few of us are getting a campaign together (a primarily evil campaign, of course).

yeah, it'd look a bit better if san diego wasn't so expensive, but i'll manage one way or another. regardless, getting out of my current job will be a step in the right direction.
yeah pink slip can mean either a title of ownership for a car or a notice of employment termination. i dunno, maybe not, but i know they're getting ready to do it if they feel they need to. and yeah, if i got fired i could probably claim unemployment for a few weeks and focus on applying to grad schools.

Titanic. i don't thnk it was meant to be a horror/action flick, but it sure as hell left me feeling unsettled and paranoid. mostly over having to hear Celine Dion for the next year against my will.
i dunno, that's just how it's programmed. though if i had to field a guess, i'd say that the way the game calculates your score, winning on april 1 or earlier would result in an unrealistically high score. maybe. like i said, i don't know.
