I'm going to buy it, most likely pre-order it. What sealed the deal was the fact that I could get a CD, I'll probably just download it and not use the CD like I did with GC2 but I just like having a back up copy. From the poll: I don't know what GalCiv II: Dark Avatar is. You guys aren't doing your job well enough, some people don't

I already have GC1 though, so what kind of offer does Stardock lay on the table for those solely wanting the expansion pack Altarian Prophecy? Perhaps a feelgood price for people like me too? Yeah I'd like some kind of a discount for just AP. I remember GC1, it was one of the reasons that I got a new computer. It's a great game but isn't too hig

Tokens are worth about $10 dollars each but you can buy them for about $8 each. You exchange them for games and you don't get the tokens back. I think you also get a discount on anything bought for the next X years. It's basically a way to save money and guarantee that you'll spend that money on StarDock. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking of buying 5 so I can preorder DA and get BS Hacker.

It sounds like MP will be likely in the second expansion pack, or it that just wishful thinking? Would it really be easy enough to port the library over? I would think that the two games would require completely different engine types ( One is a client side server and the other is a MMO). Phoenix: Good analogy.

Am I one of the three players? I can relate though, last school year I had been working on a chemistry extra credit project since Christmas and it was due in about a week (in late May). I kept delaying my building on one of the main character's final model and just finished it then. The render times ended up killing me and I only got about 2/3 of the movie finished in time. It got really hard to keep the story half-coherent since I spent most of the time before the cram period

Looks good. I'm going to enter it but I can't seem to get a confirmation e-mail from them from my sign up. I'll complain to someone if I don't get it by tomorrow. Anyone else having this problem? And I have a good idea too. **edit** An admin from civfanatic fixed everything. Thanks.

Are you planning on having something like doors?(eg push up and go into another room (hope you understand what I'm saying)) Any possibility on a map maker so players can make their own map? Since none of the people from Stardock have said it yet, Looking good and Rock on man!

so the people to blame for i dependence on arab oil isn't bush or the republicans or most of the democrats it is the envorimentlists Exactly what I think, if it wasn't for the environmentalists, we could be running on nuclear power instead of fossil fuels. I think 75% of the energy in France comes from nuclear power. Of course that doesn't

Maybe you could use a cheap used drill for the motor? But for $20, can you even build a wooden frame for that cost?

I love the Idea of companies giving out free full game trials like this. Every time Steam does something like this I always download it and if I had a 360 then I'd try this too. As for your second post, has there ever been an x-box live game that doesn't have idiots running around it?

To summarize, at the end of the campaign, the leader of the Humans went into the place where all of the dread lords were. There, he takes all of their tech and does stuff with it. The he decides to go back in time because he is mad with power. He creates the Dread Lords and Arnor. They fight because Bradley commands it. Then he gets bored and sends the dread lords to the place he was at. Then he goes to Altaria and kicks out it's dominant species, the Drath. Then he makes the Altarians and he ma

i just want to know what i will take to get under the stardicks wing It doesn't take a genius to figure out where you really went wrong in your approach. Never call a potential employer a dick. Truer (sp?) words were never typed. (I've been laughing since you posted that)

I think he has an idea for a game but has no programing or art skills so he wants to work at Star Dock, as a designer not a programmer. I really doubt that would happen. Ideas are cheap, programmers cost money.

Looks good, and I like how the reflections are drawn in the coco-factory drawing; It fits with the rest of the game. I have two complaints however. The first is that the camera seems to shake when the player is pushed back if they run into something. The other is that horizontal movement on the ladders is too slow. And what Martimus said.

GC2 is on GameSpot's list of great games that don't require great hardware. WWW Link Not sure if this is the right board to post this. I think it's the newest game on the list. Just thought you guys would like to know.
