A majority wants Tactical Combat and a majority doesn't want it since GalCiv1. I understand the negatives and postives that would come with it being implemented for both Space and Ground combat. However, whether StarDock does or does not create this game mechanic for a possible Expansion or Sequel, could there be an option for players to turn it Off and On in there Sandbox and (possible) Multiplayer? I am not personall

The concept is great with hospitality but still some planets should remain impractical to establish early game on as in class 1-7 or 31-39 in my opinion because it just keeps a sense of realism although this is GalCiv. Furthermore stating that fairly high and extremely low class planets shouldnt be colonizable should be due to the extreme enviroment as in a very hot planet, with lava rivers across some areas of the landscape or the oxygen or something of a beautiful tropical planet, whatnot c

Its probably been suggested before and I bet it has, also I am back was just, 'unaware' of GalCiv-2 and ya'll are coming along with your product nicely. Anyway I propose that perhaps for expansion, whatnot a small compact, individual tech tree for every GalCiv race. Their is one branch for every subject of technology like warfare and industry, etc. Some races have alittle more fruit on a branch than another but end up with about around 11-16. Not all the races are balanced but they're
How come we all can come to an conclusion that having ENTIRE control of a planet instead of wasting possibly, Naval'en'millions of soldiers JUST so they can realize that the planet they've fought so hard to secure for their Empire & Emperor is supplying the economy and war effort of their enemies. Eventually, hopefully within short an short time period the dissent of the population if any left or a small pocket is comfortable. You will rebuild
It is an good idea but Fleet combat should display a maximum bar for Hull and shield. So in less than 10 seconds the's are dramatically decreasing upon damage. Also Fleets should be allowed an option to choose a formation. so for example you can place your Battleship infront of your Destroyers, your Fighters between them and flanks, etc and whoever is flaked by rear'en'sides takes alot of hits and engages or infront. stuff like that.

Indeed. Duckness whynot on your opinion get indepth with what you think planetary invasion be? I feel it should be based on the tiles of the planet like in all the tiles we see in the planets screen. Yah. Every tile is virtually a small battlefield with many factors, terrain minorites, majorities, Defensive structures, Infrastructure such as roads, Urban Rural, etc. I think what would be better if when you created lets for example. 100,000 Sold
I have an idea about trading in GalCiv2. First, their would exist automatic trading between your planets in the starsystem auto than if you wanted to gain more commerce, you've have a Starbase in both sectors, or built a structure on one planet or more in both starsystems and than you gain Galatic-Trading, Interstellar, whatever. The graphics are for trading in your Empire starlanes. Floating self-batteried glowing lights on tiles and between them are a
Ugleb, excuse me but aren't the Hosptiable planets are going to have not alot of room for infrastructure and mining including, planets like Mars whereas its an great planet for mining, building, difficult to live on? Either way players are going to have difficulty so their just making it hard in two different ways.
Considering whether the Civilizations leaders are Female or not is simple. Breast, facial appearence, appears sleek and silky... Their all Sentient beings. I dont know abouts 40's, Altarian and Humans in 2225 should posess long ages, around 140-160. An women in GalCiv-2 should atleast be wearing an long skirt, jewelry and necklance with gems, hair long or short to determine status, Military or Noble.
Teemirun, you're stating that you want a adozen Yellow star's out of every 1000. That means the Homeworlds are really, only going to be suitable. I could'nt cope with having less than 10 Spacecraft than have to pay immense taxes, etc. Galactic Civilization 2 should'nt aim towards having to colonize the best bad planets, terraform em'up till mid-game. In average it needs an option to lean towards less but more richer worlds like Earth towards more abundant Ga
...Okay Alpha Centauri's Diplomacy system. Whenever you just want to coordinate something or offer an tech they are always bothering you with War declarations, "Will you assist me"? Join me, pact, EVERYTIME and its annoying. Heh. StarDocks GalCiv-2 team I feel doesn't seem to understand the complexitiy, the major improvements everybody is expecting or majorly... Because well I noticed that their was an Transport loaded with 1000th. I suppose that means Plane
Alpha Centauri. Medicore. Every damn time you bring up an Diplomatic interface with once of the Factions they always offered something, bribed, harassed, Vendetta bull... Anyway I can't decide which RTS/Space-Sim has brought upon me an unique strong Diplomacy system. MOO-3 and Paradox Hearts of Iron 2. Can't decide on which because I haven't really thought any Diplomacy system was good. StarDock I feel is providing an excellent game to bear but they're,
Remember from the Master or Orions series, Microprose allowed you to design your Homeworld? Wasn't that an excellent feature?! How about installing it in Galactic Civilization 2. You cannot directly influence the outcome of your Planet Class but indirectly narrow its randomality. Thinking, I cameup with these possible choices. Like in MOO, you are placed with 10 points...
I'd prefer it'd be more realistic. The Civilizations can be cordial, make an joke but to the end they'll ask what is your businnes enemy, friend, ____Your name. Formal with alittle mix of Imformality. Maybe if you have excellent relations with Altarian you could... See the President's Daughter, 13, 14, 22... She has long blue hair, a leather top with her nations symbol on the, ...right side of tank top...Hairs like my avater...
Amitty I know. When I use't to play Anarchy Online I came across some groups which were so great because they were stable and efficent. We pulled, I think as I use't to say, a creature or several, the Tanks, (me) would get busted up, NanoTech Healers would heal us, buff entire team before, etc NanoTech Mages would do nukes and shit. It was great. I play WoW to Amitty but damnit, I can't login. Ive never wanted to Group in WoW because when I did the afew time
Very authentic suggestion but I dont feel in the future that would ever come about. But an good point, players can communicate regularily with the Civilizations to increase Relations so thats one hell of an area that needs immense amount of context so people don't get tired of that feature.
I would prefer if the messages were formal by the leaders of the Civilizations. If you're at excellent relations with a certain Minor Race or Civilization like Drengin for example, the Lord of them should speak to you in an Militaristic speech with alittle asif I knew in you closely. Altarian Republican President should hail you, compliment you and than straight to business. On the otherhand what should be taken into account in the AI of the empires is if th
I would do everything that, I could to supply her majesty, with such valuable gifts as offering of apology but I am without those items to give her greatness. CariElf, do you still respect me as a civilian? I have within my life taking care of my Corvette Zaibuzan and Claymore as dedication to your shrines across the Galaxy.
Due to lack of Private Message. I was being comical CariElf. I apologise, for my lack of morals and ethics. Will your Civilization of Elves forgive me, a mere Human being in the Imperial Province, Cryodiil of Tamriel?
Why would they replace Humans with robots. That just means unemployment, morality, ethics, etc including Feministic rallys. Anyway as usual any offical word?
But Sensor ships around your Territory ment you knew what was coming at you in all angles Lucky boy. Sensors should be the same thing as they were in GalCiv2.
I am being comical with the explicit part but anyway I would prefer now to see an Altarian women showing emotions, etc at Diplomatic talks or something... I dont know a Female Noble or Daughter of the president of the Altarian Republic...
