My last game was a maso/gigantic one, set all AIs to pure evil, I was going for pure good. I wanted to try a Military Victory so I chose the Galactic Guardian party instead of my usual Populists +60 diplo. After playing 3 years or so, it looked pretty bad for me, I had a hard time trading and brinbing without my usual diplo boni and the Betageuses ( which are my people of course :D ) were the weakest in economy, military and everything else every AI Race did hate them. ^^ I get a popup saying "GALCIV.EXE has encountered a problem and has closed (...) SmartException has attempted to log additional information..." So I press the SmartException button and after that go on to "OpenLog Directory" but in the directory is no log file saved except my installation log. hi, GalCiv 1.21 has reproducible CTDs on my system in the later game. I often have to go 10 turns back to get around them, but in the game I am playing right now, I can´t get around one at all, so I am not able to finish the game ( have played it about 20hrs now :( ) properly. From Nov2211 to Dec2211 it´s crashing, no matter what I am doing. I am playing V.1.21, which seems to be the newest version available, without any mods and I am using the newest drivers for all of my

^^^Hmmmm Danke Icho, werd das Tool mal probieren, aber wenn ich dich recht verstehe sendet es lediglich die Fehler an Stardock, behebt aber nichts, oder? Wo kann ich eigentlich prüfen, welche Version ich spiele, im Optionsmenü steht was von V.1.05 kann das sein? @Carl Müller wo kann man sich denn die engl. Version mit key legal herunterladen? Auf download.com gibts nur die Demo, wenn man auf Buy geht, kommt man ohne Kreditkartendaten nicht weiter...
Lob an dich Icho, dass du dir soviel Mühe machst! :) Aber Schande über Stardock bzw. deren traurigen deutschen Publisher, dass er es nicht gebacken bekommt nach über 9 Monaten ein Update für die europäischen Versionen zu Verfügung zu stellen. Ich leide im fortgeschrittenen Spiel unter üblen Abstürzen ( Back to desktop ohne Fehlermeldung ), die sich nur schwer reproduzieren lassen, wenn ich das Spiel vor dem Absturz speichere und neu lade, lässt er mich ein bis zwei Runden mehr spiel

I was really looking forward to buy GC, cause I love MOO-like games and MOO3 was a big disappointment.
