Hi, I wanted to make a trully hard scenario that would challenge people. Heres whats in this scenario: (This is no ordinary scenario as there are 12 races in it) 1. Hi, thanks for the help, I made the 12 race mod, it IS possible but I had to modify one of the screen files with DesktopX free version (I actually bought it, but my subscription ran out along time ago so Im useing the free version JIK) A widget it a object with a specific function, like a MP3 player, A clock etc.. This one game I was playing, the Iconian built a influence starbase outside of my homeworld, I had a big population and had kinda neglected moral, and they kept upgradeing it so it was haveing a bad effect on me, I saw they wernt that powerful, and they were right beside me, so I thought what the hell, Ill eat there planets, I attacked and destroyed the starbase, and they immediaty surrenderd (like 15+ planets) to the Torians (the most powerful race in this peticular game) I had been protected f
I hope they dont implement boarders cause Im a worse abuser of building influence and military starbases in other peoples areas then they are to me, I think its a cool tactic to try to demoralize the enemy with influence and crank up a military advantage before attacking. ST

Yeah, I think that resources are THE most important thing in the game (other then stratagy of course) afterall they grant +49% to whatever field there in, and many a time when my 50 Billion population killed my moral, a moral resource (or 3) was the solution, I think perhaps if a race gains say 2 resources, then they should but a priority in starbase techs to max out there starbases att/def, also, they should ALWAYS at least max the bonus from it with constructors. My 2 cents anyway
You can trade for a minning starbase for around 950,000 BC (or there abouts) So basically, you cant trade for them lol, but then again, there game turning things, so it should be nah impossible. I agree, there should be a "get your ships/starbases out of my territory" command (wasnt there one in galciv1? Or am I confusing it with a different game?) I tried that but found 1 listings of Metaverse\ships and changed both. That broke the *.exe file so I copied the backup in place. Which one did you fix? I found 2 instances of Metaverse\ships and made them both \ships and my exe worked fine and saves to correct folder, but when I added the terran mod, it showed the correctly built ships,

A way to save the current map so you can load it latter in a new game
If we are useing SD Central (I have 1.2 beta 1) do we still need to download any CE files, or the enable CE file? Or is all that already added to SD Central downloads? ST
Ok, my little experiment didnt fix it, though my ships do save to the correct folder, any added ship mods dont upgrade, I added the terran ship mod, and though the ships show correctly in the view window, when you hit update, it removes all the jewlery, but any ship I make works, hmm.. I'll keep looking to see if I can figure it out (to help out SD ) ST
I uploaded a scenario that pending aproval, its on my site in the meantime. this is a scenario I simply call Dreadlords, heres what it does: 1. You are the custum race 2. Your opponents are ALL of the other Races, all 10 of them 3. ALSO The Dreadlords are in the game. 4. Thats 12 major races total!! All main races (10) Dreadlords (1) plus you (1) 5. I edited the Foreign Treaties screen as the default would only show 10 races, so now it shows
It saves ships to wrong folder, I fixed it on my exe, but yeah, Stardock said they would fix it ST

Some additional observations. I noticed that all my ship designs are now saving into the Metaverse/ships folder instead of the usual one. (I am not playing a metaverse game, just a normal one) Your right, I bet thats whats wrong. (I dont play MV games either, I dont even know how to lol) BRB, Ill tell you if thats the problem..
