Galactic Guide Book not working

I built the Galactic Guide Book which is supposed to reduce the size of survey modules to 0. However in the ship yard screen it is charging me 9 size points to install the Module. I beleve I built the Gude Book 1/2 way then bought the rest of the production.

As argo130 said GALACTIC GUIDE BOOK is BUGGED.When i go to the shipyard to create a new ship, survey module costs me 10 with a medium ship.I didn't buy galactic guide book so effect of this wonder are not applied!!!

I may be missing something, but in my games, by the time this tech becomes available all the anomalies have LONG since been explored.

What good is this tech, really?

After I built the Galactic Guide Book, the option of adding a survey module disapeared, so I assumed that meant that all of my ships could explore anomolies. (I never found out though, because they were all gone by then.)

Isnt it supposed to reduce the cost only, not the size? (also, I think you only see the "cheaper" cost after the ship is build)..not 100% sure but roughly what I recall.

yes. Reduces the price only, not space taken.

That is why I have been wondering what the point of this is? It would be neat to have anamolies appear and disappear over time, rather than just adding them all at the beginning and it being a race to get them all.

Yes, I've had this problem too. The planetimprovements.xml file says that the Galactic Guide Book is supposed to reduce the size of the survey module to 0. And even if it was only the cost, the cost still does not decrease after you research the Galactic Guide Book. Oh, and I have seen a use for it: play a custom map with no starting survey ships, like the "corners" map. When I got to the Guide Book, there were still a ton of anomolies left.

I definitely agree. Or at least make an option for it.

We know also that Galactic Privateer is bugged.Anyone know if there are other wonders or superproject bugged for now ??

Actually i think the Privateer Keeps the trades routs intact...without it after your trader for that route it destroyed 3 or 4 times you lose the route all togeather....(just my theory)

Personally i haven't seen any difference after building privateer!I can be wrong but no feedback
