I spend a lot of time in the ship creations screen. As such I thought I would suggest a few more "extras" components I'd like to see. For the most part they are reasonably simple polygons.
- A long thin pylon with the attachment point on the base, nearest comparison would be an antena. This could be used for radio masts, or just pointing out the front of a ship to create a cool looking effect.
- Some simple box frames. As in a wireframe cube with thicker "wires". A few examples in various degrees of completion (eg, half cube, quarter, etc). Maybe some similar shapes like pyramids, and curvy shapes.
- More wings. I like the dramatic curved wings currently supplied, but they don't suit all ship hull types. Some racked "straight edge" wings with a similar shape would be cool.
- Some more command bridge style shapes. Pointy, blunt, boxy, etc.
- More flat panels, but with the attachment point at one end of the object, not in the middle as currently seen.
Oh and a question. Is there any reason why the hull shapes are so... fat, as in wide? The bigger hulls look kinda strange.
