Just picked up a copy of the movies with the dvd edition. When I put into my dvd drive, I hear the drive trying to run it, but then I hear a skipping sound. And it doesn't pick it up. It also is having trouble reading my copy of the sims 2 dvd. Yet it can run Pirates! dvd version.
I have this : HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8161B
Could it be the drive that is not working? If so how do I fix it, or where can I get a new one?
