Invading Planets

I just got the game and i must say i love it, all i have done since i downloaded it yesterday is play it. However I am a little confused about how to invade planets? I have tried building transports and then sending them to the enemy planet but they just sit there. Could someone explain how you do this? i will give you a cookie

First you have to take out any enemy ships that are orbiting the planet, so bring some "gun ships" along with your transport for that. Once you have eliminated the enemy's orbital defenses, just "move' the transport onto the planet and your boys will hit the beach.

Thanks for clearing that up, was a bit confused as well. Tutorial mode isnt working.
