When I've obtained enough planets that are defenseless the AI will send combat ships in to take over the planet. Once they are successful the turn option is no longer available. The enter key will also not move the turn forward.
I've seen similar posts reguarding issues with invasions but nothing specificly similar to the above. I've "re-created" this problem 3 times now.
