On Tuesday we're scheduled to release beta 3 of GalCiv II.

But this Monday afternoon (EST) Stardock developers will be on IRC in #stardock on the IRC server irc.stardock.com during the day to interact with users on what's happening with GalCiv and share exlusive behind the scenes screenshots, code-snippets, and other goodies.

I'm there . But exactly when is afternoon (EST)? EST is -5 GMT, right? And when is this afternoon?

Edit: Ok, as far as i can understand EST is -6 hours from CET (central european time, which is +1 GMT), and if afternoon is from 1200->, that means I will have to get up at 0600 to follow the chat? If anyone can confirm this that would be great, since I don't want to get up at 0600, and find out that I calculated wrong here...

Its the other way around, 18:00 CET, 17:00 GMT.

Guess I was too early or too late. At 23.00 CET there was nobody to be found Oh well, at least we have some new screenshots today and later on, Beta 3 itself!

I was sitting in channels all day (about 12hrs from login to log out) and didnt see anything happen. I'm not too sure what went wrong but I think there has been a break down in communication on this one.

Ugleb: I had logged on early and waited. However, after a while no new text appeared in the SDC chat client. I noticed Brad's post on this thread later on. I had to disconnect and reconnect to the IRC channel, and there I was, about 45 mintues into the discussion.

All: As I missed the first half of the chat, I second the call for a transcript...

It was a fairly informal chat with 5 of us just bombardign Frogboy with questions in the brief interloops between him ehading off to take more screenshots
