In GalCiv 1, when giving orders to ships, you can "skip" a ship by pressing TAB (or click Find) and go to the next ship that needs orders. GalCiv 1 seemed to have all the ships in a list, and would process the ships as so:
Start of list to End of list, then
End of list to Start of list, then
Stand of list to End of list, etc...
If you skip of ship, the list of ships will still be processed in order. This was GOOD.
In the current GalCiv 2 beta, when you use TAB or click Find to skip a ship, the processing moves to another ship, after which it will then go back to the one you just skipped. Lets say, for example, that you have 100 ships that need orders. If you want to skip the first one (so that you can issue its orders last - maybe its a defenseless transport or constructor), then you have to press TAB, give orders to the next ship, then press TAB again, give orders to the next ship, ... basically doing this 99 times.
Sorry for the long-winded report, but I wanted to clearly get across why this is a problem. I'm hoping that the processing order of ships can be put back to the way it was done in GalCiv 1. That was easily managable.
