When playing the beta last night, I tried for the first time to invade an enemy colony. I was successful, but ended up with a crash to desktop after:
1) invasion was won
2) I got the message that I plundered a new technology
3) the cutscene window for my first successful invasion appeared (minus the actual cutscene of course) with the "blah blah blah billions of troops on each side are involved, yadda yadda yadda" message
When I clicked the Done button, the game froze for about 20 seconds, then Crash to Desktop.
Anyone else experience this? This was the first time I have bothered to invade a planet. I've mostly been playing around with the interface in this beta and not actually "playing the game".
I emailed the SmartException and debug.err logs to the gc2bugs email address.
